Im interested in starting a Hall of Fame for some of the past greats of CT flag football. Create a section on the website for them, award them plaques and possibly even start an annual flag banquet.

If anyone has any suggestions or people they wish to nominate let me know

Basic criteria would be either a player, coach, sponsor, ref or commissioner......or friend of the game who went above and beyond whether it be in their accomplishments on the field, their dedication to the sport or their contributions to CT flag.

Players would have to be retired or out of the game atleast a year or two to be eligible

I came up with a few people i think fit the bill........these are necesarilly nominees but just suggestions to get the ball rolling

Marvin Tyson
Player/Coach/Commissioner/Ref
Teams: M & M, Park City

Rich Lester
Player (QB)
Teams: TailGators, Chargers

Tom Karlak
Player (LB)
Teams: Tailgators

Lamont Kimber
Player
Teams: Hartford Chiefs

please post your thoughts and people of consideration

Show, both those guys def fit the bill......I'm not convinced uncle swin is done as a player so maybe he woyld get a coach nomination and then a player nominationafyer he's been out a few years.

I know it sounds like a lot of tailgators but I also think a guy like Chico should be considered, as a sponsor not many people have done more than Chico

Ok, so the CT Flag Football Hall of Fame is going to be a reality........so we have to establish some guidelines and standards. First thing is to create a Hall of Fame Committe, a group of respected individuals who will set up the guidelines, standards and eventually voting on the nominees.

I propose a 9 person committee(odd number to avoid split votes). Here are the 9 individuals I have selected to form the committee. If anyone does not wish to be on the committee they can be replaced.......this is not final and I would like some feedback!!
