| Yeah we are coming to the dirty to ball jus like every other team out there. We already had moved past that fellas. Yeah it was wrong, but no need to put the black cloud over are head. Shit we are the most hated in Ct... Ok no problem, so move. I still have the most up most respect for the (Kights) and teams that we played against.. I make friends, not enemies. | hartford steelers playing in waterbury...just doesnt sound right to me. this whole no merger thing is so stupid...i wish that i could place a bet in vegas that hartfords chip will be gunz v knights, milfords chip will be trojans v canes, and waterburys chip will be steelers v chargers. these six teams not being able to play all season long is a shame.

| The GCFFA has reached out to both leagues in an attempt to get some type of cross-over or more figured out. There are several things to consider and more than a few ways this could work. We will update you if anything becomes a reality.

| BTW, the Hartford Steelers played in the New Haven league for years, so did the Hartford Chiefs, Pookies form Waterbury and others. The Chargers played in Hartford for years also. For the most part teams are going to play where they have the best chance of getting ALL of there team there every weekend and where they feel the competition is. I think teams are fortunate that there are now 3 great places to play flag that are well run and competitive......If some type of cross-over can be done then great but if not, oh well, lets not have a repeat of the BS from the last 2 springs and just play ball....

| I will address that issue even though its coming from a anonymous post because I feel it is a valid question and needs to be touched on.....
First, to the best of my knowledge Pig resides in Rhode Island, and his "I'm Back" comment was reference to the tournament and not the league(I could be wrong).
Secondly, I have heard about his actions in the Hartford playoffs and would say they were a disgrace to himself, his teammates and the league. Players, their families, friends and fans deserve a safe, clean and enjoyable environment and that was compromised.
I know Pig very well, as a competitor, a teammate, and as a person who has stayed at my home and although he has made some terrible decisions I can tell you that he is no thug. He does, however, have severe lapses in judgement.
The dilemma I have is that in the 3 years he played in leagues I ran, I never had a problem with Pig that was beyond the competitive nature of the game. Any minor issues were always resolved quickly and without issue. BUT.....I cant and wont ignore the actions he took against one of our flag brothers. So is it within my right as commissioner to ban a player whos actions in another league and a different environment were downright criminal? Or do I go off of my personal experience with the individual and the premise that he has had a clean record while playing in the GCFFA?
I havent made a decision at this point, partially because I dont even know if he intends to play in the GCFFA. I would like to hear back from anyone who has insight or an opinion on the matter. If you dont want to post here, you can call or email me at your convenience
