| THURSDAY..........
HAWKS 32 BRONCOS 21
This game featured two of the leagues most up and coming teams........The Broncos were fresh off a thrilling win over 2nd String and the Hawks having been dominant in a win over the Cowboys. The Hawks came out flying behind QB Dave Gondek and solid defensive play. Gondek ran for 2 scores in the first half and also found WR Steve Dunbar down the sideline as the Hawks built a 20-0 lead. Despite looking a bit off for most of the first half, Broncos QB Dan McCaully was able to get the Broncos back in it with TD passes to brother McCaully and Carton Doty but 2 possessions and 2 interceptions later and the Broncos found themselves down 26-13 with under 5 minutes to play. Dunbars 3rd TD catch and Cb Chris' 2 INT of the game sealed the win for the improving Hawks.

2nd STRING 33 RAIDERS 27
For the 2nd week in a row the 2nd Stringers found themselves in a shootout, this time around they came out on top. The game was tied 3 different times as both teams countered every score and interception. QB Brian Gelsomino ran for a TD and added3 more thru the air but it was an option play off the right side that he pitched to his brother Jay with just under a minute to go that gave them the victory. Besides the game winner, Jay Gelsomino added a receiving TD and 2 INT's. For the Raiders WR/QB Darnell Simpson caught a TD and ran for another as his speed caused problems all night. LB Bret Burnham had 2 interceptions and S Mike Flaherty took an interceptions back for a TD that knotted the score at 21.
