| CHARGERS vs KILLA HILL
After 2 weeks of message board and FB banter, the GCFFA will finally see who and what New Britain's KILLA HILL are all about. A self professed "smashmouth" team, the Killa's will have their hands full with the veteran Chargers who have more than a handful of players who enjoy contact. I don't know much about the new squad, but I'm told speed along with confidence will be in abundance. The Chargers looked pedestrian last week vs an improved Spartans squad but low numbers and lax play will get them in trouble vs a new team looking to make their mark. If the Chargers are even close to full strength I expect a rather convincing win but a repeat of last week is possible.

WARRIORS vs SPARTANS
This is an interesting matchup for both squads. For the Spartans its an opportunity to show their performance in week 1 was the real deal. A win or another well played game vs the Warriors will show this team has a chance to contend in the league. For the Warriors, a convincing victory will cement there place as a top tier team this spring. The Warriors will have to slow down QB Phil Cushon, who was able to extend plays and utilize his TE and RB, while putting together several sustained drives. Conversely, the Spartans will have to account for do-everything Warrior Tyler Chamberlain, who did nothing but catch a TD, run for a TD, intercept 2 passes and return 1 of those for a TD on Opening Day. Key to the game may well be in the trenches and amazingly these teams appear be even when it comes to the hogs, but I give a slight edge to the Warriors pass rush and blitz package.

SOUTHSIDE CANES vs BRASS HORSE SAINTS
3 weeks ago I would have pinned this as the game of the week and 1 of the must see games of the year but after seeing them both in week 1 it looks like these two squads are moving in opposite directions. In losing to a powerful and explosive Steelers squad, the Saints looked lost without much of the firepower from last season. Dunbar is with the Hawks, their TE is now a feature piece for the Spartans and Reggie Hunter and Terry Smith will be rocking the Canes orange and green. If the Saints are going to compete they will need to use the power offense and down right nasty defensive efforts that they've long been known for. Look for QB Rob Saunders to have the team motivated for this one. As for the Canes, these are the games where they find out who they really are, that is, are they a legitimate and consistent elite team who will dispose of inferior competition or are the a solid squad who unless they play flawless are only a play or two away from average? I think the leadership here will keep them focused and the Canes will continue to gel on their journey to the top.

TIG OL BITTIES vs KILLA HILL
I dont know what to think about this one. For starters the Killa Hill squad is an unknown and will be playing their 2nd game of the day vs a fresh T.O.B squad. But after last week Im not sure a "fresh" T.O.B squad is any better then any other team in the league. The bottom line with them is they are playing uninspired football. Can they improve at a few positions? Sure, but they have enough talent and at one time, cohesion, to win with what they have. If Palmer can be a bit more creative with his play calling and the defense can not give up the home run they could get back on track in this one. For some reason I think the energy and hunger form NB will be a major factor in this one

HAWKS vs CHIEFS
Well I hope the extra week off was used wisely by the Chiefs. A practice or two, maybe even a scrimmage would have helped dramatically as this team has talent but was totally lacking in preparation and game-planning. QB Matt Coyne has the tools to be a winner but will have to no only control the offense, but adapt it to the flag game. The Hawks come into the game kicking themselves after having numerous opportunities to steal a win vs the Canes. They are led by QB Dave Godek and WR Stevie Dunbar as well as a defensive unit that has speed across the board. I dont think the Chiefs can match the grit of the Hawks in the trenches and Godek is just more polished then Coyne at this point.

STEELERS vs BRONCOS
I like this game more and more every time I look at it. The Broncos have about as talented a defensive unit as there is in the league and several players who have a ton of experience and success over the Steelers. The big question I have is not just whether the Broncos offense can score enough to win but will they atleast be able to manage the clock and protect the ball enough to not let the Steelers defense outscore them. Rocket will always be an issue but the matchup between TE Anrae Ferier and LB Todd Hill is worth the price of admission in this one. I see either a special teams or defensive score here for the Steelers

| When playing the so call killa hill there qb don't have the deep ball an so u take slant an the drag an the hitchs there done . The qb will take off as soon as the oline falls apart .lb stay home an don't let the qb run that's all he does when under pressure he can't throw . Good rw but no one to throw them the ball . Now there dline use play action they can't cover fast rw trust when k say that an then pound them with the runing game there under size little man with big mouths .
