| Ok people, I just left a meeting with DC Rec regarding our usage of the Deanwood Field. Several issues were brought to the table, but the main focus was:
1) People still bringing pets on the field.
2) People smoking on the field.
3) People just dropping trash everywhere
4) BEER BOTTLES and tops all over the place.
We all have to chip in and clean our sections once your games are over. The beer bottles are not even suppose to be on the field, so putting them in the trash cans on the field only proves that it was present during our game times. I know for a fact that the mojarity of the beer bottles come from the "VISITING MALE TEAMS" that drop by to see our ELY Ladies play. I saw a lot of those guys dropping bottles all over the parking lot as well. People, as always the Rec has threatened to shut us down but of course, I got us another chance to prove that we can be adult enough to take care of the Rec Field because the youth of today need that facility and do look up to our great athletes. Let's not let a few ruin things for the many. Also, please leave your pets at home, do your smoking in the parking lot, and take your beer bottles with you when you leave (if you must sneak a drink) because that is a school parking lot too.

| The respose to this message from cclan is disheartning we as players gove our all and want to see our league florish( meaning grow) Just clean up behind yourselves if you field the need to throw trash wait til you get home :-)

| I recommend a fine or forfeit for teams who leave their sideline full of trash. I understand that the parking lot and the 2 trash cans that are on the field are harder to monitor, but atleast it will help foster an awareness for teams to take more responsibility, especially if they have to pay a fine in order to play the following weekend in order to avoid a forfeit.

| @ bailman if u have a problem with george then u take that up wit george and not disrespect us ladies bc we have done nothing to u! We started deanwood and we play hard and work hard to keep our field and its men like u that keep the men from playing on the field nbc u have no respect for the for the field or ur mom and if u have a sister calling woman u dont kno bitches! Get it together young man then u may find urself playing on turf one day! But real talk dont ruin what we have bc ur not happy but if we werent playing on turf u wouldnt have anything to talk about bc yall have been playing down ely and watts FOREVER! so dont complain now
