| I want to let everyone know that my camera(the leagues camera) has been returned to me intact and with the memory card. I was unbelievably disappointed when it was taken, but also very proud and grateful for the support I got from dozens of individuals in the league, many of whom made sure the word got out that this wouldnt be tolerated.
Its great to know that the league as a whole is bigger then myself, any one team or any individual. This league is teams, teammates, officials, coach's, fans, wives, mothers, fathers, kids and the community. Mistakes are made, sometimes people make a bad decision, but we as a whole stepped up and helped right the wrong. whether or not I ever got the camera back this incident and my reaction to the incident was about principles and about all of you having a league you can be proud of, a competitive, tough league that when the games are over is a family too. No one should ever feel unsafe or need to look over their shoulder here. All of us go to war for a few hours on Sunday just so we can make our work week go faster because were looking forward to the next Sunday.
Moving forward, I ask that we continue to respect the game, the facility and one another and continue to grow and improve OUR league.
Thanks
Chris Severino GCFFA Commissioner
