| As the season winds down we have a battle for the 6 spot in the playoffs and possibly the 5 seed if TOB is not careful. We have 3 teams battling for that last spot in the Pro playoffs.
Spartans- (2-5) TOB,Saints,Broncos left on schedule. If they win out are definitely in as the 6 seed and possibly the 5 seed. They play hard and have a solid team and are capable of winning out, the first game should be the toughest against TOB. If Cushon takes advantage of his two stud tight ends as well as using his legs to run and extend plays and the defense led by rookie of the year candidate Adam Tuck can hold up they will be making their first spring playoff appearance. Big win - beat Hawks 20-13 this upset gives them the tiebreaker over a good hawks team Worst loss- Chiefs 7-8 Still can not understand how this happened, I know it was raining but come on. Would be alot more comfortable if they won this game.
Hawks- (3-5) Killa Hill and Broncos left to play. This is a good team and out of the 3 probably the only one that could go into the playoffs and do damage. Led by Dave Gondek, Stevie Dunbar, and the additions of some other weapons they are capable of lighting up the scoreboard. The defense has improved every week. Some close losses have them in this position where they need help to get in the playoffs. Big win- beat Warriors 19-14 led by QB Dave Gondeks long td run on a qb sneak Worst loss- 20-13 to Spartans, were missing Stevie but had to find a way to win this game . Could cost them in the end.
Broncos- (2-5) Saints,Hawks,Spartans left to play. The Broncos have played hard but have struggled offensively but find themselves as the key to the whole playoff race. If they can find a way to win out they are in as the 6 seed. At worst they could cost either the Spartans or Hawks a playoff spot by beating one of them. Without the Gunz players can Carlton regroup the troops and finish with a strong surge to steal a playoff spot. Big Win- as of now don't really have one, I guess Chiefs 28-14. Worst loss- all of the Broncos losses have come against teams currently in playoffs but this past Sundays 12-2 loss to the Warriors had to hurt considering they threw a pick 6 from inside the 10 yard line to end the game. Their 12-0 loss to TOB was ugly offensively.
