| Week 8 revealed alot and confused the playoff picture more than ever. A few teams may have showed themselves as legit title contenders and we may have a new favorite. We also have a couple of teams that need to bounce back this week but face tough opponents. So without further ado here go your week 8 rankings.
11.Killa Hill- I wish I had three hands so I could give these guys three thumbs down. Pulled a no show. Lasted longer then most thought after their first 2 games. Had a few decent players who hopefully will find another team.
10. Saints- Its been a long season for these guys. I think the injuries and close losses have worn them down. Lost to Broncos and forfeited to Spartans. Definitely need to rebuild, A healthy Rob is a good start.
9. Spartans- Had been playing well and competing hard this season under the improved Phil Cushon but basically threw in the towel by benching their qb and ending their playoff hopes with a loss to TOB. Message to the captain they say if you listen to the fans you will be sitting with them. Spartans have come a long way but have to get the qb situation under control.
8. Chiefs- I really cant explain what I saw on Sunday. A team that has struggled to score points all year put up points against arguably the best defense in the league. Looked like a team on the rise on Sunday (if they could only bottle that performance and bring it every week). Beat the Chargers after getting up big early and almost blowing it. Have to give them credit.
7. Broncos- Looks like they have made some adjustments on offense. They had the offense clicking on Sunday. They have done a good job staying focused despite a slow start and losing players. Still control their own destiny to get the last playoff spot. Face a tough doubleheader on Sunday vs Hawks and Spartans. But these games are winnable. Lets see what Doty's boys can do.
6. Hawks- Won by forfeit on Sunday and with a win Sunday vs the Broncos clinch the final playoff spot and look to cause matchup problems with whoever they would face.
5. Canes- How much things can change in one week. The canes were beaten soundly by TOB and looked more like the old Southside than the Canes we have seen all year lacking discipline, and arguing with teammates, Moe played a bad game and the offensive line showed to be overrated. Lets see how they bounce back. ( the captain better find some painkillers to give them a chance to fix this sinking ship) Face warriors Sunday and they can end up anywhere between 2nd and 5th seed.
4. TOB- Looks like they may be a contender after all. Their pass rush was dominant and their offense did enough with their short passing game to get two solid wins. They finished at 7-3 and will be either the 4 or 5 seed in the playoffs.
3. Chargers- The constant changes finally caught up with the Chargers. Blown coverages and interceptions sunk the Chargers on Sunday as they were upset (I dont even know if thats the word for it) by the Chiefs. The return of Diallo Freeman was a good thing though. Have a doubleheader vs Warrior and Steelers Sunday and if they win both games will still be the 1 seed. Definitely need improved Qb play to finish strong.
2. Warriors- I know there are no such thing as moral victories but I was impressed with the young Warriors performance in a loss to the Steelers on Sunday. They definitely showed that they are real threat to win the whole league. They have weapons on offense with good a good qb and a solid D led by their pass rush. Face a challenge this Sunday with a doubleheader vs Chargers and Canes both coming off of tough losses. I dont see these young guys being tired.
1. Steelers- Right back to the spot they are used to. Won a hard fought battle against the hungry young Warriors. All of the Steelers strengths were on display (their D-line and Rockets ridiculous playmaking ability) as well as a few new ones wide receiver Darnell making plays down the field and cornerback D. Shields showing himself as a potential shutdown corner. ( He did a great job against #9 of the warriors). The only major flaw may be the drops by the receivers. If they can get that under control they will go into the playoffs as the favorites. Face the Chargers and the Chiefs on Sunday. If they win both they will be the 1 seed.

Warroirs still have to play canes and chargers idk #2
Canes beat best team steelers
t.o.b have 3 losses more than steelers,canes,chargers,warriors
I doubt if chargers and canes lose 2 in a row

| OK man in the mirror....I think your simply a hater. First of all the steelers corner, I think his name is shields from hartford, has been known for a while as a premier corner in these leagues, he played dube well, especially on the deep ball...however if you watched the game which you obviously didnt, dubes had probably 5-7 catches and moved the ball consistently down the field and came up with a td on fourth and double cones versus a four deep look that went well over half the field to put us in a potential game winnning extra point...idiot. your talking shit about an eighteen year old kid whos been lighting this league up since last season when he was in high school. Ive kept shut about it but your comment proved you have no clue.

| Its funny that the kid Dube has never posted anything on the board yet somehow he receives so much hate. The fact that people keep hating on him answers the question. He must be a pretty good player. From what i have seen of him he is a good young player with alot of ability who I would imagine he is still improving. Him and Shields both played well and it was a good battle to watch on Sunday. Keep up the good work Dube.

| @ ace exactly they beat them selves but moe couldv got them some points or try and decrease the defense time on the feild the def helled up pretty good.but also them original canes cant just leave it all up to the old raiders week in and week out..but it was an off day for them chargers and canes, a loss too the chiefs is just unexplainable its gona be a interesting last week..im out

| Moe knows he could have played alot better but we win and lose as a team. I blame the coach. I could have made some adjustments. He had an off day. It happens. But he wasn't the only one.

| I did call it, somebody will hold Dube down to one TD. Hey Moose, I heard a saying go like this, "the higher you climb up the totem pole, the more your fanny(Ass) is exposed to the masses taking shots at it." that's the only reason people are "hating"(as you call it) on ya boy!

| The way I see it some of those raiders can be a lil ball greedy and throw toddler temper tantrums when the play doesnt go their way instead of keeping their heads and tongues. that's how southsides game went straight south. As for those mighty chargers, you should all be ashamed.

| Stacked? Why cause we had 5 guys on the sideline? We had plenty to get the job done but people didnt take the game seriously and the Chiefs gave us a rude awakening.
Your not much of a fan if you think that was a stacked chargers team though

| As an Original Cane I feel disrespected by that "leave it all up to the old raiders" comment. I don't know anybody on southside canes that wants to put our duty on another player, in fact everybody tries to do too much except just their job. I feel like DWade in game 3 against the Pacers, don't ever question our efforts just because the results aren't fully there!!

| First off wanna tip my hat off to TOB they played hard & smart & made adjustments on O & D to get the job done.. Way to ball.. For the no name Fan yea i played a bad game i will agree with you TOB made adjusents after we drove down the field & scored in like 2 minutes on our first possession after that I failed to adjust on O.. I appreciate ur observation of my game just hope u not on r sideline in ORANGE popping off on the board.. If so that's sum Sucka Ass Shit.. Hope I'm wrong but It is what it is.. Can't wait till Sunday.. "EAZY"

| Wooow omg yo we had a few talkers sunday yea we lost argued just like all the other teams I seen the same tension at everygame. Just becuz its southside ppl think were done fallen apart..nope we have a family @ fan we do what other teams do and say the same things but all this rah rah cuz we southside at the end we suck up loses and unite as 1 at the end.we still on the move canes all day. We put this sunday behind us so fuck off fan..p.s most of us canes know each other off the grass and have long history nuthin but love over here let us live

| as long as they are on the roster they can play ANY reg season game. but to play playoffs, they need atleast 3 games played to be eligible (if im not mistaken)

| There is nothing wrong with a small change in the line up to work on new things. Hack is a great athlete and I stand behind the performance he displayed against the TOB. We have a few holes and no one is perfect. Our team is intact with the players at the positions we play. We got it together Hack lets keep our heads up. We(spartans) will be ready for next week and games to come after. Going out with a bang.
