| i cant believe some clown comes into the league for the first time and has the nerve to secretly complain about illegal bats and think that the message wouldnt be passed on. just because u arent and never will be good no matter what u use !!! u should focus more on ur game then using ur mouth.

| This speculation about someones bat is just that. Many guys have played this game a long time, and after thousands of swings they have a grasp on what pitch to hit and where to hit it. Others have played very little and rely more on their mouth when they step on the field. I guess the bottom line is the RAT with a big mouth will get his in the end. It is a shame that one AssHole ruines things for everyone by crying to compensate for his lack of talent.

| Who cares about some dude running his mouth. If he wants to talk let him talk. If slow pitch softball and that's it. no one is getting paid to be out there. If you are not using a shaved bat and he is talking take it as a complement. If you are using one and he calls you out on it you deserve it. If you wanna use a shaved stick vs my team thats fine but if the pitcher gets hurt be prepared to have your stick cut open. Its a chance you take for the advantage.

| Totally agree, first off if your not CHEATING by shaving your bat than who cares who says what, take it as a compliment... if you are cheating than you deserve what comes to you...
did you know if you swing a shaved bat and hit a person with the ball and they get hurt you can get arrested and charged.... to me not worth it

| might as well reveal the mystery man or team. the quicker we get them out of the league the better. Oh and by the way. There have been quite a few people hit with batted balls in the past 3 years and a couple that have had their bats called out. not one has had their bat "cut open" and no one has ever been suspended. it is pie in the sky to think that anyone will ever be held accountable for a worked bat. if y'all dont like it then I recommend y'all play coed and leave the mens leagues to the men. you can come on back when we go to league supplied bats and get beat by 25-4 every game instead of 31-6.

I guess real men shave their sticks for added distance. I bet you take a little blue pill to get a hard on too, cause that what real men do right?
Last year I watched a member in my team drill the pitcher in the face. First thing the ump did was grab the bat. After the pitcher stayed in he released the bat back to us. So I know they are taught to take the bat IF the pitcher leaves the game. I would think that would be the in all 4 leagues unless the ump has a reason not to have the bat looked at. It's a risk that you take by using it. I know if I was caught I would hate to have to sit for a year or 5.

| This message board is pretty good. I almost was worried I was being called out until I saw the second note from the creator that said same person that sent an email to Haggerty. Since I never recieved the original email I feel better. If someone gets hurt why not check the bat? No harm in that. No worries for the guy that grounds back to the mound 4 times.
