| 1)Minnetonka Millers (5-0) Minnetonka keeps winning (closer games recent, but offense will explode as usual soon) 2)St. Louis Park (7-2) SLP, added younger guys the last couple of seasons. They are pounding the ball and their losses were close. Will be there in the end (as usual) 3)Stockmen’s Irish (3-2) Stockmen’s lost to Shammies and Pats, but is a strong team. Can’t drop lower because it’s early and they are defending champs (Shamrocks could be up here, but not yet) 4)American Pie Patriots (4-3) The Patriots beat Stockmen’s and Burnsville (top notch B club). Lost to St. Anthony and Sport and Spine – Pats will hang around all year like normal and have a great shot at the state tourney. 5)St. Paul Shamrocks (2-1) Beat Stockmen’s and then lost to the Mudhens. Shamrocks are consistent and will round into form. Look for them to shoot up the board all season. 6)Bloomington Bandits (5-2) Intriguing team. 2011 played a lousy schedule and it showed in the state tournament. This year schedule looks tougher, beat two in a row by Eagan and Burnsville and going into matchup with Lakers. Could get a run from Hopkins in Riverview. 7)Minneapolis Lakers (2-2) The Lakers. Always in the running in the Park National. Beat Lyons Pub in league so off to a great start. Dropped tough one to Minnetonka and lost a lot of guys. Also gained a lot of guys and so far so good. Good matchup with Bloomington coming up, but expect Lakers to make state tourney and make another run – will move up the board (tough schedule as usual). 8)St. Paul Sport and Spine Diesel (4-2) Sport and Spine always is on the list during the season and always blows it at the end. Already took down Minneapolis Lakers and Patriots, lost to Tonka and Stockmen’s. Playing a good schedule, will this be the year they break through? Or another disappointing finish and no tourney visit? 9)St. Paul Capitals (2-3) Potentially the best team in the state. Lost to Blue Package Delivery (looks to be an improved club in 2012), Minneapolis Angels (sexy pick to take P-Nash) and St. Louis Park. Caps will get on a roll and hopefully won’t get a tough break drawing a team like Shamrock’s in the playoffs again. 10)Lyons Pub Warriors (1-4) Lyons Pub only dropped to tenth because of the 1-4 record. The Pub has played extremely good teams and have been in each game. They will be fine and will be back atop the rankings and also the P-Nash in no time.
Next in: Hopkins Berries – tough pitching staff and this could be the year they sneak into tournament post Mike Davis. Minneapolis Angels – as mentioned above, sexy pick for 2012 with additions from folding Rocks club. Lost a few games and aren’t updating website. Made the tourney in 2011, but will have to battle the Lakers, Pub and Pats. Any league as competitive as the P-Nash?
Improved from 2011: Word out there is that Blue Package Delivery is on the up and up. Played Bloomington tough and beat the Capitals. Could be a sleeper pick in the St. Paul league. Metro Knights – beat another consistent pick for top 10 in the St. Anthony Hogs and currently playing above .500 ball.

| Very Nice work. The Dundas Dukes host their tourney this weekend where you will be able to see Tonka, Park, and the Lakers square off.

| First off, I like the analysis of these rankings. Great job taking the time to put this together. With that said I have to ask how you figured Sport & Spine to be the 8th ranked team. They are 4-2 with their losses being to your #1 Tonka and #3 Stockman's. They beat #4 Patriots and #7 Lakers. Seems to me their past tourney history shouldn't matter and they should be around #4 or #5 on your list. The other question I have is how you put a 1-4 Pub team in the top ten? I'm sure they didn't have most of their guys at their losses, but 1-4 is still 1-4. Best of luck this summer boys and I'll look forward to some good chatting on this website!

| Veteran, regarding Sport & Spine you are correct. You are also correct about Lyons Pub. The problem with Sport and Spine is that they typically do this, start great and fizzle and I know that it shouldn't be held against them in 2012, but since its early and teams are still figuring out who they are, I ranked them a little lower and if they keep winning they should move up. The Pub is 10 because who else is in the top ten? Most teams don't update websites so it's difficult. Also, their run differential is like a -5 or -6 for the year against some really good teams. It's hard to drop the second place finisher out of the top ten when they played a tough schedule right off the bat.
You are correct though, both points are valid. It's early and things will change, hopefully teams don't get upset about these rankings because they are just one guys opinion and there are a lot of solid clubs struggling early. Should be fun!
The Dundas tourney should be good. Good luck to Tonka, SLP and the Lake Show. All three will represent class A extremely well.
