| I'm thinking Jim Eckert followed by MG. That's going to make him pretty pissed off Jim. And Mariano rivera going to phils.

| Although they may be the best let's give credit to where it's due. The 2009-2010 team got the ball rolling. Your welcome

| How come attackmen get all the press? I think Paul Heck in goal was a game changer. He still shows it every alumni game. The guy's a freak of nature.

Anatole Wedmid
Dominated people!!!
*Broke jaw in 1997 Ridgewood quarterfinal game blocking a shot.
**Think he was the first Pole to wear #8

| I'd put Heck a close second behind Elzer. Both were game changers.
And what about Mecca? First four-year letter winner in the program's history, his teams had a combined record of 60-16 and went to the state playoffs all 4 years. Then he won 3 national championships at Princeton.

| Mecca was great, but he had the advantage of being on some really good teams. Farber was also an AA along with Mecca his senior year. Both Alex Eaton and Ryan Hollingsworth were 2 time HS AAs.

| Greg Mecca. ......dude won every face off. Got every groundball and had like 50 goals his senior year as a middie. Best player I have ever seen.

| Glad to see Al get a shout out. Was wondering when we'd see a non HS AA. While we're at it, what about Badger, Schofield (first BR college AA), Watson (second BR college AA), and the Vallarios.

| Most dominant face-off middie ever was Carlos Mir '84. He invented FOGO and probably won 85% or more of his face-offs. Went on to a great career at Salisbury.

| Love to hear what coach Apel and Szeles think......I played with Elzer and Mecca....Elzer was so creative and crafty with his shot, he was so much fun to watch......but, Mecca was just nasty.....face offs, ground balls, his shot was so hard and he could place it anywhere....and he played really solid defense also.....in my opinion Greg Mecca is the best player to come through the program with Elzer being # 2.

| Don't forget both Jim Eckert & Chuck Lowe were HS AAs only 4 years after picking up their first lacrosse stick. Imagine how good they could have been if they started playing in 1st grade like they do now!

| Mike Bruce.. Jr year I think 63 goals on 14-2 team. Only losses were Lawrenceville and Mtn. Lakes (1st state ship) Career ended way to soon. Senior year would have been NJ player of the year and AA. D1 all the way and wanted to go to U of MD. Everyday got letters from D1 coaches.
