| Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to inform you all of the 8th Annual Peter Schiemann Memorial Slo Pitch tournament which runs August 10-12 at Meridian Sports Park in Stony Plain.
Peter Schiemann was one of the 4 brave young men shot and killed in the Mayerthrope shootings back in 2005. This tournament is in memory of him and has made significant donations to the commmunity in his honor.
The details are below:
•August 10th - 12th
•Carded NSA Umpires
•Location: Meridian Sports Park in Stony Plain (Camping Available)
•Payouts for Division winners
•Mixed format 6/4 with an EH
•Full concession service with Beer Gardens
•Prizes, Home Run Competition, 50/50 Draw
•$375.00 Entry fee per team
•Guaranteed 5 games
•WestJet raffle - 2 WestJet flights to wherever they fly
•All funds donated to Yield Program and Parkland Kidsport
