| Registration has been finalized and we are proud to announce that the 2012 CT NIT will host a total of 18 teams (3 Open registered teams). All teams will be pooled together for saturdays pool play and the Open only teams will be removed for Sundays single elimination round along with the 3 worst seeded pro registered teams. After pool play, the top 12 teams will advance to the PRO division on Sunday. This will help ensure teams come ready to play on Saturday as there is no clear guarantee that they will advance unless they earn it.
We are also excited to point out that there are 9 teams participating in a nationaly recognized event for the first time, which shows how much growth we are having in the CT and RI area. Hopefully a few of these new teams turn some heads and become the next group of circuit regulars
WE WILL BE POSTING ADDITIONAL EVENT INFORMATION OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS SO PLEASE CHECK BACK AND MAKE SURE YOUR TEAM IS AWARE OF ALL INFO.....
Pools for the event were created based on national rankings (there are only 8 ranked teams), TIME REQUEST's and we then did our best to get new matchups and balanced games.

| Sorry you feel that way, but the reality is when teams ask for specific game times (steelers were one of them) it limits me as to where i can place them.........factor in 7 other requests and sometimes teams get a draw they dont want but it was either that or play when they wouldnt have a team. Its amazing how teams want special consideration then are upset when they get what they asked for.
There are 10 unranked teams in this event, all the ranked teams are in the top 2 positions of each pool..........as they should be

| Some pools can't avoid matchups with teams that play locally. But in that Steeler/YG pool, why didn't they both play the other teams? If the Steelers requested times, then they play the other teams at the times they are slotted. I don't think the YGZ or Steelers are upset with another matchup b/c either is scared, but they play locally alot and just played in VA, now again in CT? Best of luck to all, but whatever.
Also Chris can you show what the rankings are b/c some teams do look like they are misplaced. Lanies braket is REAL soft and they are not a top ranked team. And your team can't be ranked ahead of the Gladiators and YGZ and your braket is soft as well. Alot of confusion and arguements can be squashed by showing the rankings. Thanks.

With a snake format (standard) the top 5 teams are the top of each pool, the #6 team would go with #5, #7 with #4 and #8 with #3......All three of teams 5,6 and 7 had specific time requests and were very close in points making it easy to accommodate their requests while still keeping he proper balance of pools. From that point we rounded out the next two teams in the 2nd half of the snake based on who we thought was strongest and Bulldogs and RI Gators (AC's team) are proven contenders vs top competition. The remaining teams were filled in as unranked with us using our knowledge of the teams to try and create competitive games and honor as many requests as possible to ensure teams play at full strength

| How do these points work? I am confused. If I remember correctly, Omni won one major tourney and lost in semi's. Ok. The Gladiators lost in Semi's twice. YGZ lost in chip both times. How are the Gladiators ahead of YGZ? I don't know how to look at Bluedogs or Blue Chargers or whatever the hell it is. The BLUEDOGS lost in semi's (I believe) in AC, Chargers prob in the 1st round or something. Then the Blue Chargers? won VA, so do the Bluedogs get all the points or is it a new team. So if the BLUEDOGS get the points then shouldn't they just be called the BLUEDOGS? I don't know, sounds like some Chris Bosh shit, hopping on someone else's dick to win a chip? But still explain how the points don't make sense.

| Your a no name, heartless bum. End of story! The guys on my team are livid at me because they have to sit a game, nobody wants to be there all day but its the way it had to go. FYI, exactly half of the schedule requests came from non "top" teams. No one got chumped.......the fact is there isnt a director ANYWHERE that doesnt do his very best to accommodate teams especially out of state teams so they dont have to incur extra costs (extra night hotel stay) and to help expand their tournament (even your precious commish over in Hartford). Shit its advertised on most fliers and websites for leagues and events.
If your schedule is to difficult or does not meet your liking, have your coach contact me for a refund.

| Don't get defensive Chris when your card is pulled. First it does look suspect that the your team is one of the VERY VERY few that have a break in between. It looks suspect that you hop on the Bluedogs and pick up all their points but now the team ISN'T the Bluedogs. Come on dude, be real with yourself. You are either the Bluedogs and get those points or you are the Blue Chargers and only have the points from VA.
To the dude that said Gladiators won the Marlyand tourney, didn't even know there was such a thing. Must not have been any or many big teams there. I was just basing on the AC and VA tourneys b/c those are where the big boys were.
Chris you need to decide if you want to be apart of a team or be a commish b/c there is a conflict of interest and most of the teams feel it is bullshit. I didn't say run a team b/c we all saw how that worked out.

I always post my name and I doubt you will ever find a post of me talking shit. 90% of my posts are responses to comments about my team. Do I think we are the best team in the state? YES I do! Will we ever lose another game? Probably. I am VERY confident in my team, and it's unwavering, unlike alot of you guys that act confident but shake inside. If you wanna bring up the tournament 6 months ago, I don't think a 20 point mercy was a fluke. And that's not the only time we've beaten the YGz, so what are you saying? We lost a game!

| To REAL SHIT!.......I'm not sure you realize this but the regions are set up so teams are aware of what tournaments are outside of their region in. In order to qualify for the PRO Division of the MCFFU World Championships, a team must participate in 3 events with a minimum of 1 being out of their region. Teams are not penalized for traveling out of region, but encouraged.......it helps teams prepare for the trip to FL as well as helps bring new competition to different areas. It is most prevelant among teams from the Northeast traveling south because our teams are more established and have been playing longer and a few teams have the financial means to make this trips.
here is the qualifying criteria......
THE NEW 2011 NATIONAL RANKINGS ARE BASED ON THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
Beginning in 2011, teams will be ranked as usual by their total point accumulation earned on the USA Circuit. This will then be followed by 2 qualification requirements:
1. Tournaments Played: (minimum of 2 regional and 1 out of region – 3 total)
2. Win/Lose Percentage: (.500 or better)
Any team in the top 16 that has not played in a minimum or 3 tournaments with 1 being out of region and /or possessing a winning percentage below .500 will be dropped from the Pro 16 and the next team with all 3 requirements (points, required tournaments and .500 or better winning percentage) will be moved up.
Qualifying Requirements:
Points Earned on the USA Circuit
Participated in minimum of 3 tournaments with 1 being out of region
Winning percentage of .500 or better

| Its cool, just wanted you to know that they have been encouraged to travel as are all teams. Like i said, the northeast is ahead of the curve as far as 9man is concerned so in a way we are looked at as ambassadors......going tog to other markets to show them what is out there and showcase the level of play. Every year the Gladiators tend to have a few more points then most teams because they go to the most events regardless of region but those points are earned because we all know how hard it is to travel and bring a full squad......I see why it could bother people but i know that by teams like the gladiators and a few others a few years back , they jumpstarted the whole charlotte area that now has Da Show and Force traveling on the regular.
Regardless, whoever is nimber 1 now means very little if you dont win FL and take the world chip......
