TOPIC: Can anyone compete with the Gunz? |

| After watching last weeks tournament I have to say that the Young Gunz are the best overall team in Ct by a pretty wide margin. The defense is nasty, the offense is full of game breakers and the Qb is dangerous as a runner and passer. They don't look to have any real holes. They look to be the team to beat for the foreseeable future.
Here is a list of the teams that I think could have a chance to compete with them for the top spot in Ct.
1. Trojans- This is the one team that can match the Gunz offensively, if they can tighten up their secondary they have a real shot. Watching their receivers vs the Gunz DBS is a prime time match up. Right now they are definitely the number 2 team.
2. Warriors- With their full squad these young boys look like they may be a real threat to the throne. They have playmakers on O led by Dube. The qb Connor is good and getting better. Although they play hard I think they would struggle stopping the Gunz offense.
3. Canes- This is one of the few teams that has the tools on both sides of the ball to give the Gunz a battle. But you never know what you are going to get from them. If Moe is on his game they would have a shot. I think the difference is the Gunz D- line would give them a lot of trouble.
4. Gators- Another team that has quality athletes all over the field, but something is missing. If they can solidify their qb situation they could be a real threat. Have to put up more points in order to beat the better teams.
5. Knights- Rumor has it that they are in rebuilding mode but they always give the Gunz a good game and Shawn has a way of finding talent. Bard or Ish throwing to Coles gives you a chance against most teams.
6. Steelers- If you ranked the best teams in the state the Steelers would be top 3 but I just don't like them matching up with the Gunz. The line where the Steelers usually dominate is neutralized by the Gunz but where they struggle to matchup against them is at the skill positions. With Rocket under center there is always a chance but they actually do a good job slowing him down too.
7. Bulldogs- This is a good team that seems to be missing something. The additions of Tony and Sosa definitely helped but the Gunz are one of the few teams that is good enough to slow down. Cervizzi is a good qb but seems to come up short. The Bulldogs defense would have trouble matching up as well.
8. Chargers- They would be a lot higher but not really sure who is still on the team but Chris always puts together a talented team capable of beating almost anyone.
9. Assassins- These young boys play hard and Troy is coming into his own as a qb. They have a strong pass rush led by MMA. They look to be an up and coming team. I think their secondary would struggle against the Gunz receivers and offensively although Troys ability to escape the rush would help his lack of accuracy would be exposed by the Gunz secondary.
10. Eagles, Franchise, Cowboys, Stars
At the end of day, all of these teams have to make some improvements to overtake Ct's new potential dynasty. They are this good and they look to be in their prime. Can one of these teams step up? Leave your opinions

| Gumbel Eagles already beat the Gunz just to put that out there but you do have a funny looking list only thing I could say is let's wait and see who on your list gets the job done. Don't want to start any league beefs but nobody in this league has a chance of beating the Gunz. They're a powerhouse if they felt a team in this league had a chance they would have been playing in this league.

| Trojans are a legit team. They can beat the steelers all day. They can compete with the Gunz. But beat the gunz wont happen again. That tourney win with local teams was a good win, a mercy. The Gunz won't ever let that happen and win BIG tournaments. Va beach, CT, and a bunch of finals. How many mcffu tourneys have the steelers or Trojans won. That's right. Trojans, just realize you are a number 2 by a long shot.

| What does that mean. dynasty have to start somewhere. Look at the pats they were 500 with bledsoe for yrs, then they got brady to step in and there we have it 3sbs and 5 appearances. Don't be mad history. If we been around so long that means we must have been children playing against y'all. Get it together. We know are history, why don't u other teams start making some history.

| I personally played the young gunz twice and im 1-1, so obviously id say we can compete. Gunz r #1 in Ct, no doubt in my mind cuz of the tournaments u guys have won, but i wouldnt say trojans r too far behind there, my first time playing we won convincely and the last time we lost by 7 and if u were watching that game u know the game could have easily gone the other way...but a wins a win and we r trying to get our team together to play the gunz for $, just hard to get everyone together in the off season...

| By all means I would love to see ANY team come to the other league this fall and TRY (trust me that's a big ass TRY) and knock the Gunz off their throne. No disrespect to the Trojans but if you come to the other league with your team(not players from other teams I heard you guys added players from the Gators,Gunz and Knights for Gor's tourney) come with your own team I could see you guys going 5-5 in that league and maybe having a playoff spot. Again no disrespect just my opinion. I think the league play is a little more tough than what your use to

@CFFL Network, by all means tell me what 5 teams we would lose to in the "other" league? Gunz are your only shot, and that's a toss up. Maybe, just maybe the reason they (the Gunz) keep winning is because the "other" league is watered down. Before you go on a rant and use the Steelers as your example, here is an example for you. Spring 2011, the Knights won Waterbury, and were arguably the best team in the state, then went to Hartford and scraped the Gunz in the semis and lost a battle in the chip to guess who, the Steelers. Fall 2011, the knights went back to Hartford and went undefeated, beating the Gunz again and lost in the playoffs to guess who, the Steelers again. Other than the Steelers, we (Trojans) were the only team to beat the Knights during that run. No disrespect but it looks like the Gunz have lost before and the Steelers have won in both leagues.
As for our team, what you saw at Trinity is our team, Felix and Quon were the only additions. Felix happened to be at the field and asked to play. Why not, we've played together before and he's a good player. Quon had nothing to do and asked to come, we said yes. You forgot to mention we were light with skill guys and had 2 guys that NEVER played flag before play the entire day on defense and still pitched two shutouts.
Also, we would love to play longer halves. Anyone that watches us play knows we usually start slow and get better as the game goes on. Longer games increses our chances at winning, not decreases.
You can look at OUR team and almost every player was here from day one or started their flag career as a Trojan. The couple guys we picked up have consistently played with us since they came on.

| I have a better idea. Have the Gunz, or any other Hartford team (besides Steelers), play one season anywhere else. Gunz tried and finished fourth. And that's the same season they won the Hartford league. I'm pretty sure leagues are open to anyone.
We've already won in Hartford, Waterbury and Bridgeport! Skated by no one, played and beat the "top" dogs in all.

| Picked on?????? I believe the Gunz had 1 catch on me, or near me, to Quiles for maybe 5 yards. I went out for the last series of the Gunz game cause we ran man up with added pressure. I put what i thought were our best athletes on the field. It was a total of 4 plays and it almost worked. If i feel i need to come off the field, that's what i do. I've been beat, but i don't believe i've ever been picked on, in state or out.

| Trojans #4 what i dont understand is how do you go on here talking about what happened from 2010 to now and not once does it say the Trojans won anything other than the Fall CT Tournament. You say you guys won from Waterbury to Hartfortd to Bridgeport. You mentioned the YGz placing 4th in other leagues outside of hartford right, so let me school you right quick. Thats the year they were going for the 3 Peat in the GCFFA, your chris's boy so he can tell you where the leagues were and they were'nt all in hartford. Also they played in both leagues if you can remember, showing up to the waterbury league with 10 guys. Put YOUR team in both leagues and tell us how you guys would do ???Other than that 1 tournament win i just spoke about and Bridgeport which is your own WATTTEERRRREED down league. What have the Trojans won, what league championship do you have in Waterbury or Hartford. Just like when you ranted after you guys won that tournament, please tell us what you guys won in 2009-2012. What is your body proof, plaques, trophys. How much noise do you guys make out of state. Ooohhhh you guys play in the Open most of the time so lets be real. Like it was stated above you guys are a Far 2nd place in the state of CT. With all due respect you guys a LEGIT team, but you cant have a claim to fame without STACKING CHIPSSSSSS. FAAACCCTTTSSSS !

| Other league is not watered down Gunz keep winning because they play as a team and have been playing as a team for years period not to mention they have the best QB in the state in flag football. As far as mentioning 5 teams that'll beat the Trojans in my opinion I won't mention the obvious Steelers,Gunz,Bulldogs and Knights. I'll go a different route and say Havoc,Vikings,Bearcats, Franchise and Assassins I could name about 3 more but I'll keep at that 5. Again nothing against the Trojans I respect this team a lot and this is just my opinion that #4 asked for.

| Trojans are not wht alot of yall think, bunch of steroid bums who cnt hit people straight up, ive watched #20 hit the littlest dudes from the blind side which is legal but be a man and back ur shit up, truck a nigga straight up, side blinds is more for the little dudes, Sunshine is a force but theres a few on tht team tht talk better then they are and tht list was pretty accurate, i watched Trojans and Assassins scrimmage,both teams did not have there main QB's but Trojans statement tht they start slow is bullshit, they started out fast on the Assassins then Assassins slowed them dwn, one popped hamstring and a player out of position is why Trojans won, and yes the Assassins cnt wait to play them again to

| #4 trojans is absolutely terrible hr gets hustle plays after he messes up. Trojans as a unit are decent but will never win a championship if in same league as gunz .
