| The fall season is only a month away and from what Ive been hearing there will be a few new faces in new places, a new team or two and not to mention the biggest change of all with Pete Miller finally deciding to let Chris in to help get the fall league back to respectability.
RUMORS
SPARTANS ARE NO MORE
after a decent spring where they came out firing and turned some heads the season slowly began to unravel and now the word is Smurf and Phil have lost many of their top players and likely will be folding up shop. Tommy and others to Wolverines? Hack and K Taylor to Chargers? Tuck to Broncos?
HERE COME THE WOLVERINES
With a mixture of former Spartans and Saints players along with a few new ballers that coach Chris Murphy has recruited the Wolverines and QB Rob Saunders look to be this years up and coming team much like the Hawks of last Spring. If they can keep the nonsense and bickering out of the camp they may be a sleeper team.
WELCOME BACK TROJANS
After working together for the summer tournament it appears Paul and Chris will be supporting one another plus many of the Trojans players were just flat out bored in Bport last year. If the Trojans are in that adds another elite team to the mix. You can expect the few add-ons for tournaments to be on the roster like Credle, Easley and Collins making them a favorite for the title. The only question will be whether or not QB Sampon will make any games because of his commitment to Pop Warner
WARRIORS IN THE FALL?
Usually this squad takes the fall off because so many guys are in school and their leader (Moose) is coaching but sources tell me that Moose and Crew will be back. No Connor and No Dube could mean the Warriors take a step back from a team that was 1 play away from the finals in the Spring
but a Nick Colgiavonni siting and whispers that Steve Angilletta is a full time Warrior now could make things interesting. The warriors are hot and if they look to be light anywhere Im sure it wont be a hard sales pitch for moose to recruit this time around
CHARGERS SCRAMBLING
Word is several players wont be around this fall for numerous reasons, some due to injury and others not happy with Chris' decision to merge his travel team leaving a few guys out. If all of this is true the Chargers will be looking to replace WR Hussey (free agent), NG Uyi (injured) and OL Tommy (college) and maybe even CB/WR Kirkland who is said to be trying to get to the next level. Expect to see some new faces including a few Hartford record holders as well as a few of the springs all league 1st teamers. Either way this team has been to 3 straight title games (1-2) and expect to be there again
MARCO.............KOLO?
Thats right, the Knights are mulling over a return to Waterbury this fall. It makes sense as they are just a few minutes up the road and for years were the dominating team in the WFFL. They took some lumps out in Hartford this past year but a healthy, full roster could mean trouble for the opposition here in Waterbury. Cant wait to see where they end up...........and who will be their QB when they get there????
SOUTHSIDE CANES OR JUST CANES
The squad with the most upside in the state right now but ended the Spring on a real bad note losing to TOB twice in ugly fashion. GM Walters has his hands full with alot of personalities and the rumor is he has added a few more players and personalities for this year including star WR Steve Dunbar and CB Dejourn Shields. The other issue swarming around is whether or not Moe is the best QB for the job or should utility man Brian Chounard get a shot..........
STEELERS TO DEFEND THEIR TITLE???

| Good writeup. The players you mentioned for us are good players who any team would want but I am pretty sure they are happy on their present teams

| If Steelers don't play in Waterbury in the Fall, I am playin with the CANES . But your right I am def happy playing for the Steel Curtain and no other team no matter what league the Hartford Steelers play in
