To see if there is a market of teams who really want to "win" money, or think they have a legitimate shot at winning

Im offering prize pools that can be entered. Sort of like a fantasy football pool. A team can enter 1 or all prize pools. and the teams who finished the best at seasons will win that prize in the prize pool they entered.

Prize Pool A $250

Prize Pool B $125

Prize Pool C $75

Prize Pool D $25

1st place 85% of total pool
2nd place 10% of total pool
3rd PLace 5% of total pool

Now there is an option for teams who "want" to win money, or think they have a legitimate chance. If no teams enter than there is no prize pool. But now we can

Teams can enter one, all or none of the pools, the teams who finish in the top 3 will win the "Cash"

Im very interested to see how many teams enter this and in what pool lol

After talking to Kash we have decided we will not be giving cash prizes to the leagues. A free bid ($500) will be given to the champion, and a #250 credit to the runner up and a $250 credit to open champion.

The reason we removed the cash prize is that the money will be better used for the entire league rather than to cater to top 2 or 3 teams.Tournaments will still have cash prizes. just not leagues Teams can still enter the prize pool if they choose to if they want to win Cash.

NO CASH PRIZE UNLESS YOU ENTER THE PRIZE POOL.

just to add my 2 cents

I was once told by Jose "poppi" Santiago (a 90 year vet in flag football) lol of the eagles when i 1st started... Bringing money prizes into this league Kash is going to mess up the flag football game. I have to say now i see you were right

The recent events about "money" almost made me quit running the league, as there isnt enough "money" for that type of headache.

Yes this may cause some "top teams" to leave or not play, and/or switch leagues, But Champ and I would rather have fewer teams who are just happy to play football. But as ssid before if teams really want to win money, you still have an option.

Now we can see how many teams enter the pools who were actually interested in what amount of Cash.

If you want cash you will have wait for a tournament or enter the prize pool

Listen !!! What will be improving champ colt park ? Investing in a better venue ? More officials ? Stat takers things of that nature ? Typically a league entry comes from a sponsor so just keep it real and say football is about being competitive and we play for the love of the game not for money . What teams will be in this league in the north cause south is lame

Me and cash talk almost every day on ways to improve the leagues as you can see from the break down there really isn’t any money to be mad from running the leagues. This year we've talk about putting together sponsorship packages to help the team go out and get sponsors, having a league newsletter doing team highlight films having a weekly around the league video breaking down last week’s games a lot with upcoming week predictions. there are a ton of things that can be done to upgrade the leagues and were looking for teams that want to embrace this league as their own and help with the success of the league. Not saying all these things are going to happen year one but were pushing to go in the right direction.

Im def fine with no cash prizes but if there is no cash prize can we make the cost of the league a little more cost friendly? Just a question not complaining. Just like a good poker player say at the world series the bracelet is more important then the money. We just want to win the chip.

And if you really break it down
$1095 / 25 players = $43.80 per player
$43.80 a player / 12 weeks = $3.65 a game a player
Thats less then going to open rec and you get ref's website stats media website trophys ect.
And the most teams have some sponsorship that would bring it down even more

no but you are basing your cost on 9 teams and history has shown there has been more than 9 teams every season. Maybe it could be something like if 10 teams join than teams will get a $25 kick back if 11 teams join teams will get a $50 kick back and so on and so on. Giving a $25 kick back for every team over 9 and maybe max it out at $200 kick back. It would all be based off the amount of teams in the league the more teams that joined it would drive the cost down.Just an idea no a complaint.

I do understand that and it does sound like a good idea but this is work we should make some money for the work we do I take the couple of dollars I make and sponsor my team and Cash does what he wants with the few dollars he make I’m not saying there aren’t a few dollars made but for the time and effort put in I think it is well deserved. Think about it cash spends every Sunday at the field spends Mondays uploading stats and making videos and writing story’s, on the off season spends time and money advertising spends time and money at league meeting so the extra few dollars that come from the teams over 9 should go to him. Teams should put the effort the put in to worrying about what is made off the league into finding sponsors and they wouldn’t have to pay anything.

No offense , but what proves our point about expenses and benefits in ur example mike, if you teams who want "kickbacks" can enter a prize pool...

if you want to play for littlle or a lot of money..enter the appropriate pool.

$25 / 25 players is $1 per player

$250 divided by 25 players is $10 each

Try the prize pools if you waht cash, you dont even have to be the champion to win

Were just trying to eliminate those who play for "other intentions" while accomodating those who wish to play for money.

Champ/Cash I brought up the 9 team thing because that is what you had posted I dont care what you guys make and think you deserve whatever little money goes back into your pockets. This is for Kash, I used the word kick back because in my suggestion to make the league cheaper no one wold know what the "Kick back" would be until all the teams signed up and you had a total then Kash could give the "kick backs". i didnt know what other word to use. I dont need to play for Money I made that clear in the above post it is all about winning a chip for us. I was just looking for a way to make it a little cheaper for all teams if possible if not thats fine also. Just trying to make suggestions.

Cash next time me and champ are having a discussion please stay out of it. LOL JK

I understand 100% mike. If you want to make the league cheaper for your team and players I would seek out more sponsorship. If you would like I can help any teams interested. I have make a flyer that has different levels of sponsorship that you can take to local businesses in your arena with different levels of sponsorship it makes it hard for them to say know. I know one of my teams got $100 from seven different company’s last year.
