| Overview: In the Red, Clarkston and Lake Orion are running the table as expected. Troy and Rochester are hanging in there, and the Troy vs. Lake Orion game will be a very big game in a couple of weeks assuming both do what they're supposed to do this week. If Troy can return their injured stars Darish and Losey they will be a huge force along with the Cherry brothers. Wheels are falling off the bus over at Athens, with a loss to Pontiac last week, their playoff bid is all but over. After a great year last year, Athens is staring right at an 0-9 season. In the white, Oak Park is making some noise, along with Farmington as the only 2 undefeated in the white! Oxford finishes off Harrison in the upset, and Adams is in the same boat as Athens looking into the eyes of a possible 0-9 or 1-8 season.
Future headlines: Troy vs. Lake Orion with huge OAA Red implications. Rochester vs. Lake Orion. Clarkston vs. Troy. And finally, week 9, who will be the dominant league this year? The Red or White?
