Looks like the league is divided into 4 groups with maybe 2.5 teams capable of winning a championship.

Favorites
1. Southington Knights - The Knights have been the best team in the league so far this season. They have played lights out no matter who has shown up. Ish has made a smooth transition back to the QB position. He is surrounded by more weapons than any qb except maybe the Trojans (but its close). They still have games left with the Trojans and Canes but they look headed for a top seed.

2. CT Trojans - The Trojans are the most explosive team in the league (as evidenced by the Spartans game where they went from down 14-0 to up 50-14 in a flash). The defense has improved and they are championship contenders with either QB, but with Sam they may be the favorites. They have yet to face the other 3 top teams who all present different challenges for them.

Contenders
3. Ct Chargers - The Chargers are always a tough out and I am sure we have not seen their whole roster yet. They played the Knights tough in a loss and won a close game against the Canes. They still have the Trojans left, if they can find a way to win this game they are looking at a possible bye. The Chargers as presently put together are not a championship team, even though they have championship heart and toughness. But Chris has the players on call.

4. Southside Canes - The Canes had a tough loss against the Chargers but they are a dangerous team with enough talent to knock off one of the top teams but I just dont see them being mentally tough enough to beat two of them, which it would take to win a championship. I am interested to see how they bounce back from the loss two weeks ago. They are going to have to play smarter football to be successful.

Playoff Caliber
5. Bristol Spartans - The Spartans have been the surprise of the league so far. They are a physical team that plays hard and Phil has done a great job putting the team together and improving at QB. I just think they fall alittle short of competing with the big boys talent wise. They are headed in the right direction.

6. Bristol Rams - They are ahead of the curve for a new team but they do have a good amount of veterans. I believe they have more talent than any of the teams outside the top 4 but until they learn to play together better on both sides of the ball it will be a battle every week.

7. Watertown Wolverines - This team will be in the running for one of the final playoff spots. Any team with Dunbar, Moss, and Chris the TE as weapons should be tough to stop. If the QB play improves they could jump up the rankings.

Needs Improvement
8. Bristol Chiefs - These guys have not improved very much over the seasons. They have some decent players but I am not sure what it is. Maybe its a lack of organization. They are good for at least one upset though. They looked like they were getting better after the spring upset of the Chargers and losing in the open championship game but I haven't seen it yet this season.

9. Ct Broncos - I think they could be higher, but how can you put a team that has not scored yet this season and has been outscored almost 125-0 in 3 games anywhere except last. They had good numbers last week but its time to produce fellas. They don't look like they are playing hard enough, I saw some improvement last week but we will see.
