Seaholm and Lasher play tonight at 7 for Lasher's last home game ever. The game will also have League champion implications. Can lasher's high scoring offense over power seaholm's dominant defense? What do you think?

Seaholm gonna give Lahser a beat down. 2005 msu-illinois football style. No survivors. The Maples led by senior Tommy Oelke are going to prove why they have best defense in the OC. And how they are my sleeper team to make a run at Division 2 state title.

Looks like the better team came out on top tonight. Dominant performances by senior tommy Olkee and senior Justin Brooks. Brooks ended the with 234 yards, 2 rushing touchdowns and a punt return touchdown. Looks like the maples should be making a serious playoff run.

This is one of those games that you truly do not want to see anyone lose. I was just mad that the game ended. It was a great game and I beleive Seaholm can take the next step. However for Lahser, I feel like they will bounce back again. Nathan Emery did not get on the field in the second half but his backup really put in 110%. I am fairly confident that Lahser can do more damage this season. Anyway, good game Seaholm. Sometimes the wind doesn't shift in your direction and everything happens for a reason.

Nate Emery had 140 yards rushing and 95 in return yards in the 1st half...... lahser played well in the second half... but think they missed him. Great game..!!

Bloomfield Lahser is an extremely talented team. Sophomore RB Emery is going to be a dandy, providing he can stay healthy.

Birmingham Seaholm is indeed the real deal... proven. If they don't stumble and fall against Hazel Park or Birmingham Groves than they'll be playing 2 or 3 playoff games at Maple Field, and they love playing there. Trust me, I know.

This was one of the best games ever...I went and thought the last team to score would win. It was one of those nights. However, I must say that Lahser got screwed on the overturned onside kick. Have no idea why the refs gave Seaholm the ball. Stephen Gunther...wow what a game! Best player on the field. Lahser can't cover receivers to save their lives. I think Spencer Smith may pick them apart this week!

I was impressed that Lahser still fought to the end even though the refs messed up the call. That is a real team that does not give up. However, Lahser's secondary wasn't bad. I think it was a blown coverage by the coaches. Usually they would cover a 4 receiver formation a lot better... As you could see from the game, Lahser only had one safety and they ran 4 vertical on them all day. However, Nathan Emery's backup gives me a lot of hope that the running game will stay consistent. Not only he is fast but he has some good strength for his size. Seaholm shouldn't get cocky though. It was a good two weeks for them but they need to beat Hazel Park. They have a good running game. If their so called "best defense" does not show up, the offense needs to step up their game up like they did at Lahser.

What is going on with Emery? I heard they are unsure he will go this week. Kid is an awesome talent.

To be honest with you, I do not know. He did not play in the second half of the Seaholm game. he will be missed but I would not be worried...

I heard that it is not his knee but a deep lower thigh contusion. Hopes to be cleared next week or 1st week of playoffs.
