People, we can not continue "SNEAKING" pets on the Deanwood Field. The Monitors really gave me an earful yesterday as he counted at least 5 dogs on the field. Please tell your friends/guest/players not to bring their pets to Deanwood or Rosedale Field before they pull the plug on those locations. Thanks in advance and please spread the word.

Just to note, the people that live around Deanwood who may not be associated with anyone or a team tend to bring their pets as well

I was talking to a man yesterday who was walking his dog, he was asking me about the league and had decided to stay and watch the games until the redskin game came on. So please let the monitors know that some people could be living in the surrounding neighborhoods because its A LOT of houses and apartments around Deanwood, and men and women are intrigued when they come across football games and especially women who play football, because they really don't see women playing football. WE have the best league and women football players around, who wouldn't want to watch us! lol

It's not just ppl from the neighborhood. I have seen ppl who are there supporting particular teams or ppl, and I definitely saw quite a few yesterday. We don't want to lose our field, so let's just do what George asks and tell our ppl that they are not allowed to bring their pets with them!!

No excuses just suggestions

Have a sign created and posted by the entrances... and since you have monitors, also have them located near the entrance to stop people from entering with their pet.

PS. I'm not one of those guests or players w/ guests who bring pets.

I agree with the sentiment that signs should be visible that indicate no dogs allowed I've seen signs at some other recreation centers indicating such. We are in America where there most be notice/formal signs/documentation that inform people of policy. I have no problem verbally discouraging all "violators" but ultimately, we can't force anyone to do anything.

To the Commisioners, I'd contest any efforts on part of DC Parks & Recreation to not allow us to use their fields, if they haven't, themselves, taken proper steps to post official signs.

Has anyone seen a sign anywhere on field that state no dogs allowed? I'd glady direct "violators" to the official sign for there own reference.

Come on ppl, we don't play in grass, this is turf. Everything should not have to be spelled out to us. I have never seen a sign, but common sense tells me not to bring an animal on a fairly new turf field.
