That's right folks, the Ladies have asked for it, so now it's on. Upon completion of our Fall Flag League and in an effort to keep the comradey and conditioning going, we are going to have a Ladies Basketball League (Only players on the current football rosters are eligible though). A complete list of committed teams will be posted soon. The games will be played at Cesar Chavez Charter High School (3701 Hayes Street NE DC, which is right across the foot bridge at the Minnesota Avenue subway stop). We will play a few games prior to Nationals and complete the season well before the start of the Spring 2013 Flag Season. The fee for the league is $450 and is scheduled to start Sunday December 9th (Sunday League). Further details TBA later. Also, we might have a Mens' Division as well. Have fun people. Who else got game - chime in if you're down!

Love it

Love the idea, but a lot of people might be afraid to play due to Fl coming up and they might get hurt.

Why $450, it's not like you have a roster of 30, this bball, only need 12-15? You should bring that price down.

$450 is actually cheaper if not the same as the FABB basketball league.. With 10-12 on a team, that's only $38-$45 p/plyr.. Most folks in this league spend 3 times that on bad habits in a week.. It costs to play sports.. U wanna play then pay,, if u don't then don't..!! At least Some1 took the initiative to start a female basketball league...It ain't too many others..
