Is it 100% positive that we will no longer be able to use old stamped USSSA bats in the league starting next spring?

is this just for our league or all usssa leagues? Just wondering how difficult it would be to sell if they are banned from most leagues.

My take on the NEW STAMP issue is that USSSA TOURNEY officials will enforce the NEW STAMP rule , and MOST rec leagues are either voting on it , or leaving it alone... since we are an ASA converted to USSSA REC League, we should probably have a vote at the next managers mtg on the matter, aa we do with MOST matters that fall outside of our current bylaws.
...who knows maybe we can vote to go full fledge USSSA rules & add "pump-fake" pitching & allow more excemptions per team to get our team count back upto 16 with more players available per roster, instead of losing teams & having a few teams with thin rosters... ^food for thought^...

Having to sell or discard old stamped bats is another deterent from maintaining consistent sign ups, as the expense of equipment gear league fees etc gets tuffer to afford in these economic downtimes..(me personally i don't care, i waste tonz of money on this shitty sport already, but... for the avg broke players its a hardship for them & plus you cheaters & scrubs would havto anti up those shavers & yud hit lil bloopers instead of 180ft bombs Lmao)

Thoughts??..

we should go to universal team bats where both teams use the same bats with the new stamps, then watch half the guys in the league quit, that way kinda clean up the rif raff in our league from other towns who couldnt swing a legit bat with a shotgun to their head, it would be funny to d=see who quits and who stays, us at c moulton are just gonna swing 2x4's and still smash, hahahahahahaaha fuckin cheatn scrubs. NEW BATS!!!!!!

I have asked umpires, players, other leagues if there is officially a ruling on the stamps. I have not been able to get an answer. To my knowledge, there hasn't been an official release from USSSA.

That said, we will do whatever is required to keep our insurance. We can't vote on something if it voids the insurance.

Go independent (NSA) and swing whatever you want.....Ask Taunton (chris carr worked the transition from utrip to nsa)....insurance issue with the balls that they were using along with supplied bats.

NSA is an easy conversion if (most are) the utrip umps will still be available.

type in that link. Old bats out. New bats in. or wood. In a dirty cluttered basement somewhere dutilly is creating a fake 2013 USSSA stamp.

Love the idea of league supplied bats. Good call Demonti, light sabers will be gone.

Supplied bats is a real good idea. Just don't let Artie buy the bats or ALL of them will be lightsabers.

makes sense, balls and bats are retarded these days and with it being a rec league with lots of older slower players, and the fact we play on fields a 4 year old could blow it out of, whats the need for light sabers? i think the league or teams should buy a 26 27 and 28 oz bat for each field and lean them against the back stop like most sanctioned tournys do and may the best hitting team win, the end. i call rite now if the league does go that way a team that shall be left unmentioned has barely 9 to play each week and wins 5 games all year lol, hahahahahaa GOT YOU!!! WANG WANG . . . WANG WANG WANG WAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNGGGGG WWWWAAAANNNNNG WANG WANG!!!!!!
