| All I hve to say is Thank God that Paoli Basketball is coming back you know at every boys game last year I looked and watched out boys team become a shell of it's former selves and just get beat in games where they should've won seen them quit (on the coach) against Eastern Greene and Brownstown in blowout losses but the turning point of how bad the boys Basketball program has fallen for me was at the Paoli Girls Basketball Regional when half of the Gym was all Poali Purple and Gold and cheering on the girls team and the Boys return to the same Gym for the boys Basketball Sectional and all you had was a corner section of a cheer block that was half empty while the other schools there had most of the gym covered for their games...I know Crawford travels well but there is no way that the boys basketball program should've had that low of a turnout and right then I looked around and thought "somethin has to be done or this program is dead it needs to get back to Paoli basketball" Paoli basketball which was me goin to a boys game and you had to either stand to watch the game or if you were lucky enough someone would give you enough room so you could sit half a butcheek on a bleacher to where you could find a seat no problem I remember at Southridge standing in freezing weather buying A Sectional Regional or Semi-State Ticket walking in and it was a sea of Purple and Gold Rams fans everywhere and I had to sit in the section with the team we were playing against cause Paoli had soild out their section of tickets...Paoli Basketball it's also playing tough defense it's about rebounding it's about the offense you run that's another thing that killed me the previous coaches had gotten away from that they took what Paoli Basketball stood for and just flushed it down the toilet and tried to do somethin on their own that 0 people had faith in VERY RARELY had I seen a Paoli team just get destroyed by 40 or more points twice in a season I mean back in the glory days if you beat a Rams team by 40 points in one game they were gonna fight you the next game and make you beat them whoever the opponent was if it was the team that bet them by 40 or the next team on their schedule...the rebounding also killed me the past few coaches didn't put enough time on rebounding and The Rams were getting killed on it too me the Rams seemed soft and weren't tough they didn't have that "survive if we let you" mentality where you may be better athletes than us or have a better team than us but you're goin to have to fight us for the victory...anyway the old coach leaves and we bring in Dusty who I thought they should've hired when he was a JV coach in Crawford County who brings back that Paoli basketball mentality and the "Brown system" along with it brings in Jerry Stroud who has been around in the school system either as a coach at Paoli or administrator through the glory days and Scott Blankenbaker who was an assitant coach under brown and knows the "Paoli Basketball way" should be a fun season and glad too see Paoli Basketball back
