| I recently came across some real cool marching band and drum line videos and felt it would be really fun to be a part of something like that again. I may be a little rusty after almost 20 something years, but I imagine it wouldn't take
it long to come back.

If this video brings about a certain warm feeling of yester years and you have the spirit to relive it or if you ever wanted to be a part of a band, but didn’t, here is your opportunity.
The idea is to create an amateur adult marching band. The hopes are to perform in several parades and maybe a few competitions a year (in and out of town). Membership is open to all. Members do not have to have a music background and no auditions required. We will begin practicing when enough interested musicians have joined this group. I‘m looking for a place to practice now.
We are looking for all instruments that exist in a marching band. There even will be a dance team and flag team.
Where is it written that only high school and college students can play and strut their stuff?
Also, if you know someone who may want to take part, please pass the word.
This may sound funny or even farfetched, but it’s going to happen.
