| Hello,
This morning I was approached by several members of the Connecticut National Guard unit that will be deploying in February and the unit is seeking donations of (new or used) softball / recreational related items for use by the troops and for donation to the local/indigenous population overseas. I mentioned that I would spread the word and would collect any items and get them to the guard unit prior to the units deployment.
He mentioned the need for softballs, gloves, ball caps, bases, bats, numbered jerseys, marking equipment ( cans of line marking paint ), as well as any other recreation related items such as kick balls, basketballs, soccer balls, horse shoes, air pumps and pump needles.
Please contact Wayne Legere to arrange for pick-up or they can ship the items to me at the below address.
