| Please comment where you need fit on this. The following is how the previousl by-laws listed it, it then has the suggested changes. That is followed by the reasoning the by-law committee thinks a change should be made.
ARTICLE 1
SECTION 1 NAME OF LEAGUE A. The league shall be called the Rock River Baseball League, Incorporated.
By-law committe posed the question of: Does the league want to look into becoming non-profit status? Benefits of purchasing baseballs, umpire hats, etc., without being charged tax. Extra paperwork possibly to IRS?
This question was simply posed as we didn't know what it all entailed and we were not sure if we could benefit from such status. Our thought process was would we be able to save the league money by not being charged tax if we do say buy the balls as a league. After hearing what Carl had to say and the process it involves I would say that it would be best to keep it as is.

| As an example of how we can speed up this process for the next meeting I am giving an example of a response, it can be long or simply short by giving a thumbs up or a thumbs down from above the message box. If there is a question that arises from the committees suggestions, please list it so we can know in advance the question and have it ready to be addressed. All questions should be cleared up before we vote on any or all of the Articles.
I think that the by-laws should read as they were and the league should not become non-profit status.

| THE COST OF FILLING OUT THE PAPERWORK WOULD OUTWEIGHT THE SAVINGS.
