ARTICLE 2
SECTION 1 OBJECTS OF LEAGUE
A. Amateur baseball for players interested in the game.
B. To promote baseball as the national game of America.
C. To protect and promote the mutual interest of amateur baseball clubs and amateur baseball players.
By-Law Committe's Suggested Changes:
A) To unite all Rock River League divisions under one league with a standard by-laws.
B) To establish and regulate the Grand Championship Playoffs of the Rock River League.
C) To encourage and improve the standard of baseball in the Rock River League.
D) To promote the growth and stability of the league and its franchises.
Reasoning behind the changes:
As the league expands possibly in the future and the next step of the league could be to go to 4 divisons or more, we thought it was important that each division plays by the same rules and by-laws as the others. We also felt it was important that the playoffs were understood in the by-laws. We also feel that the RRL has a great thing going with it's eligibility rules in comparison to other leagues and that as a league we should continue to promote that league growth for the betterment of the league when seen fit.
