| SECTION 3 BASEBALLS A. The official ball adopted by the managers must be used in all league games. B. If an illegal ball is found in a game, it must be replaced with an official ball. If no official ball is available, a substitute ball may be used with the approval of both managers and umpires. There shall be no protest on the use of an illegal ball. C. Three new baseballs must be given to the umpires at the start of the game. The umpire must approve any balls added later. D. The home team must have one dozen new baseballs available for each home game, with the exception of the last home game, when ½ dozen must be available. E. The home team is required to furnish a warm up ball for the visiting team upon request.
By-Law Committees Suggested Changes:
SECTION 3 BASEBALLS A. The official ball adopted by the managers must be used in all league games. The official ball adopted by the managers in 2012 will be the ROML and must be used in all league games. D. The home team must have one dozen new baseballs available for each home game, with the exception of the last home game, when a half dozen must be available. E. The home team is required to furnish a warm up ball for the visiting team upon request.
SECTION 4 – BATS A. Only wood or wood composite bats are legal.
SECTION 5 – UNIFORMS A. All players and coaches representing their team on the field must wear closely matching uniforms. B. Managers must be in complete uniform unless agreed upon by the opposing manager.
Reasoning for Changes:
Section 3: A. The baseball portion would be updated for each season and would name the actual ball. In this case last season it was the ROML. For our purposes now it would be the R-100 for the next I believe 3 seasons it was decided upon. The suggested changes were done before the new ball vote.
Section 4: We decided this would be a logical place to add this portion for Bats
Section 5: This were a good spot to address uniforms.

| I agree with the proposed changes. The one thing that may need to be addressed or even just pulled out is the manager needs to be in full uniform. I think this is usually the case, however I think about the situation where a player has come out of a game and then changes into a pair of shorts but is a part of the game still by coaching a base, I do believe that someone not in full uniform but a part of the team or that particular game shouldn't be penalized for changing.

| I don't feel that we need the exact name of the baseball in the by-laws. The baseball as adopted at the Organizational/Franchise Meeting would be sufficient. That would save changing it every year. I feel the manager should be in uniform. He may have to go on the field to discuss something with the umpires. I just don't feel that would look right if he wasn't in uniform.
