| As in past yrs the league has been kind enough to allow me to run a preseason tourney the Sunday before opening day.
I would like to run this yrs tournament to benefit a couple of folks that have ties to our league.
Everyone knows what B Hall is and has been going through.
AJ Costa's dad has been diagnosed with Cancer and some of his meds are not covered by insurance.
I would like to come together as a league and help 2 of our own.
I would like to have the proceeds go to both families. More details to follow but I would like to know which league teams would play in this?
Same rules as usual with bracket play into a playoff. Min. 3 GG. $200 per team.
I will try to separate teams based on talent level.

| I will have brackets up by tuesday. I am just waiting for the Prez to finalize field usage.
We have 12 league teams and I will split it up into 3 brackets of 4.
I am going by final standings last year and those will be the 3 brackets starting from the top.
Everyone be prepared to start at 830. Guaranteed 3 games.

5 hrs
2 courtesy runners per inning
using a mat-anuy part of mat or plate is a strike
on plays at plate any part of the mat is good for touching
flip for home team for every game

Must be ready to play 30 mins prior to scheduled game except for 1 st game

There were time constraints on some fields and a we ended up with 11 teams.
This was the best I could come up with to guarantee 3 games to everyone and separate some of the teams.
Please post on the board that you have your starting time and are set to go.
Hopefully this comes out right and makes sense. I need to catch a flight home but wanted to get it out there.

| Me and my family want to say thank you to Tuck and to the whole Coventry softball league.. I'm very proud to say I play for a softball league that comes together like a family and helps each other out.. Good luck to all the teams this weekend and this year.. So lets get this season started !!!!

| I made changes to Bracket 2.
Mark Marocco donated all the balls for the tournament and asked to put his team in,Elmwood Sports. He is also paying their entry fee so I agreed to let them in.
Bracket 2 changes as follows
A)Bellas
B)Ultra/Bellas
C)Trust
D) Elmwood Sports
830 A vs B at Fish Hill
830 C vs D at Nike
945 A vs D at Nike
1100 B vs C at Nike
1215 B vs D at Nike
130 A vs C at Nike
245 top 2 teams after pool play will play for championship.
Each Bracket will have their own Champ.
So no crossing over because Phillips Hill ends before the other 2 brackets and I dont believe that bracket winner would want to wait 2 hours to play.
Remember this weekend is to shake off the rust, have fun and most importantly help others.

| You may use any bats you like. This is a non sanctioned tourney using UTrip balls.
I decided on this because some teams may not have the new 2013 bats yet.
