| Gunz v Hawks - The best team in the state vs an up and coming hungry team looking to make a name for themselves. The gunz have size and talent on both sides of the ball but dont sleep on the hawks. They have good QB play and some playmakers at the skill positions but the gunz have a clear advantage in the trenches. I think the gunz will be weak coming out of there winter hibernation and the hawks will make them pay. Hawks in an upset 24-21
Warriors V Broncos
The broncos made some key addition and will be a much better team than in previous seasons but will it be enough to get them to the next level? The warriors have also been on the rise but they didn't play in the fall so look for them to come out flat and get caught off guard by the new look broncos. Broncos win in a close one 13-12
Trojans V Cheifs
The trojans are a top team year in year out and this year its championship or bust. They have talent at every position and have been playing together for a very long time. The cheifs have a lot of work to do but do have some bright spots. They need to trim the fat and add a few playmakers before anyone will take them serious. The trojans will blow the cheifs out of the water in this one. 42-12
Trojans v Chargers
Not sure what the chargers will be about this season but im sure chris has something up his sleeve. The chargers usually start slow and the trojans will be warmed up from the game against the cheifs so i look for the trojans to jump on the chargers in this one. Trojans take 28-6
Knights V Dirty Water
Not sure about the dirty water but they will have to bring some firepower if they want to compete with the knights. The knights look to prove their doubters wrong this season and show they can compete with the top teams. They may not be a top team but they will get by the dirty water. 34-18

| Not a bad write-up Trey......thanks for contributing to the site it is much appreciated. I cant say i agree with all your picks but this is definitely going to be an exciting first week of football
Just curious, can you further entertain us by telling me what have i ever had up my sleeve.....and what i might have up my sleeve this year?

| thew hawks have never lost by more than 6 points ever so saying they will lose by 30 is obsured the hawks will win point blank period just so u know the hawks are never and easy team face so get ur popcorn ready and lace ur cleats for a week one win for the hawks kaaaaaaa

| That's just not true. sorry to tell you bro. I played on two different teams that beat the hawks by more than 6 myself and those teams just plain weren't that good either.
I don't care that you're confident in yourself because I think the Chargers can put up more than 6 pts in a 1pm kick on opening day but you're not stating facts.
