| I was told something this past weekend that made me feel bad/uneasy.
It was brought to my attention that some people in the league that have had a family member touched by cancer, may be upset with me.
I just wanted to explain who is chosen for the fundraisers. I don't usually choose who to do these fundraisers for. Usually I am asked and obviously I would never say no to anyone along those lines.
If I upset anyone, I am truly sorry as that would never be my intention. I never know what insurance covers vs what it doesn't cover unless I am told.
I am more than happy to do a fundraiser for whoever needs help, friend or even someone I don't know at all.
I feel the work I/We do is very important to whoever we do it for. Helping people has become a mainstay in my life. I take great pride in the fact that this league steps up and helps someone every year with our preseason tourney.
I take what we do very seriously and felt bad that someone may think that about me.
Again I am truly sorry if I offended anyone.

| I just want to say that Tuck, you should not feel at all uneasy. I have never met someone that went out of his way to help others. Its very sad that anyone would say anything ill about what you do. I am not going to bad mouth the people saying things because I'm guessing they are going through some very difficult things in their lives and maybe are not thinking clearly but you need to ignore them because anyone that knows you Tuck know you will give up your shirt off your back to anyone that needs it. There are a lot of good causes and you have helped a lot of them. Keep doing what you are doing and never let anyone let you feel bad for doing it.

| Allow me to address this, seeing its already out of control and people are talking about it. First Tucker I myself am not in any way whatsoever upset about what you do. You are a great person for the work you do. I myself along with many others respect the shit out of you for your hard work. I was JUST a little setback in your choice of words. That's all. I'm am not looking for a dime, mention or any such thing. I'm also sure the other person is not as well. Frankly I'd rather fly under the radar. This is a personal situation for myself, our friend, and your other teammate. I know this is a very sensitive situation to address, in any circumstance. My only suggestion is to try to speak in vague terms. Again I myself am not angry. How could I? That would be super arrogant on my behalf. I think anyone else would agree. This thread should be a dead issue unless the other person wishes to chime in. As far as I am concerned, 3 people are involved in this and it should stay that way. If anyone else wants to add their 2 cents call me, and keep these boards clean from this. 919-2298. Allow Tucker to do as he intended and help those in need. Best wishes to all who are dealing with this miserable disease.
