The girls league is prepping the THIRD FIELD this Saturday. The dirt will be spread next week and seeded shortly.
This will give us a third field at the complex next year.
This SATURDAY we NEED volunteers with steel rakes to help with rock removal and field preparations.
As many of you know we nearly lost these fields this past winter. Part of our continued relationship with the girls league hinges on following through with some of the promises I made to keep us on the fields.
Those promises...
-man power - they need it, we have it - including this Saturday
- keeping fields clean - no garbage, no cigarette butts on the field or ground, and raking the fields after games (rakes in the shed same code as the gate lock)
-golf tournament foursomes - Scheduled for 8/24 I picked this date because according to USSSA.com there are no major state or regional tournaments - please save this date
-networking - we have a lot of people in a lot of fields that know a lot of people - if they need something, I want to be able to find it for them
PLEASE POST IF YOU ARE ATTENDING ON SATURDAY. OR TEXT ME OR EMAIL ME. I TOLD THEIR PREZ I'D LET HIM KNOW ON FRIDAY NIGHT HOW MANY I ANTICIPATED SHOWING UP. THE MORE GUYS THAT SHOW, THE LESS TIME IT WILL TAKE AND THE FURTHER IT WILL GO MAKING AN IMPRESSION ON THEIR LEAGUE
AND FINALLY, IT BENEFITS US AS WELL! 3 FIELDS IN 2014 - SIX TEAMS PLAYING IN THE SAME PLACE - IF WE CHANGED THE SCHEDULE TO WE COULD HAVE 12 TEAMS IN ONE PLACE

| The work party was successful and there are several people to thank.
Chris Paul, Ray Page, Brandon Weaver, Kyle Medeiros, Cliff Ross and Chris Paul Jr. from On the Roch's led the way with 6 team members.

Scott Tucker and Jeff Saucier from CCFD

And Dempsey aka Droopy Dog who's been posting looking for a team showed up and helped out.
Everyone needs to thank these guys for making all of us look good and helping get this field ready.
There will be more dates in the future, but for now, please mark 8/24 on your calendars as the golf tournament date.
