SECTION 1 ALL STAR GAME
A. Inter division All Star games shall be decided on a year to year basis and will be shifted each year (one year in
the Northern Division and the next year in the Southern Division).
B. The host team must furnish gate collectors and ball chasers. The host team must also take care of all field
maintenance. All gate receipts go the league with the host team keeping all refreshment stand revenue.
SECTION 2 PLAYERS
A. The All Stars will be selected by the Board of Directors of the league.
B. In inter division All Star games, the manager of the All Star team shall be the manager of the first place team and the coaches shall be the manager of the second and third place teams in their respective divisions after games played through the last Sunday of June.
C. The president shall have full charge of publicity of the All Star game.
D. The president shall appoint the official scorekeeper for the All Star game.

1. Insert the overall order that was established for hosting at the 2011 meeting.
B. The host team must furnish gate collectors and ball chasers. The host team must also take care of all field
maintenance. All gate receipts go the league with the host team keeping all refreshment stand revenue.

A. The All Stars will be selected by the Board of Directors of the league. (last Tuesday of June if approved)
B. In inter division All Star games, the manager of the All Star team shall be the manager of the first place team and the coaches shall be the manager of the second and third place teams in their respective divisions after games played through the last Sunday of June. (The manager of the all-star game is the highest seeded teams manager from the previous season. This manager is responsible for finding fellow coaches.)
C. The president shall have full charge of publicity of the All Star game. (possibly remove – does this fall on the President or the host team?) (possible future consideration of All-Star coordinator responsible for the overseeing of the All-Star game – this could also be the host team each year)
D. The president shall appoint the official scorekeeper for the All Star game.
Reasons for changes:
An order was established in 2011 for the All-Star Game. This should be put in the by-laws so everyone knows the order in advance.
A. We think picking a concrete date for All-Star selection that can be put on calendars at the beginning of the year will help everyone with busy schedules. This day would be a Tuesday however because Wednesdays are a big night league evening for games. This is also a logical spot for all-stars to be selected and have played in half or more of the games by then.
B. Manager for the game is based on the previous years standings. This way it can be planned in advance that they will be in charge of the game and in charge of finding fellow coaches. This is similar to MLB.
C. Self explanatory - again part of the duties that haven't been broached yet.
