| I wanted everyone to know that towing of vehicles from the school parking lot was a ploy by the school to make us pay the principal money. Towing can not be inforced in the parking lot because it is public property and no signage. The first officer yesterday was giving out the wrong information.
Now it would be greatly appreciated if the commissioners would just pay the DC permit for us(do not pay principal as he is friends with the Ice Cream truck and the reason all this nonsense started)
Several cars have been vandalized lately and its too much for players to keep running and checking on their cars

| I agree 100 Percent. this league will lose teams and money if it continues this way because after sunday is all said and done most of us have to go back to work on monday and would prefer to go without having to file a claom with their insurance company because we couldnt park in a public parking lot.

| From my understanding the school principal has asked for a "donation" to use the parking lot. When that was declined/ignored they decided to contact the cops for so call "trashing the parking lot" although several teams have cleaned the parking lot once everyone has left the field on Sunday's.

| I love the silver truck! How difficult would it be to make a formal request to DCPS, for official access to school parking lot? Our venue is big enough to warrant such a request. "Kickbacks" to the principal does't seem official.Moving forward, I hope we can work on getting official permission. It's justified and if it means paying an official usage fee, so be it!

| You love the silver truck? He is the reason we can't park in the school lot and forever calling the cops on other vendors.

| If we had a permit, then we would not be violating anything. Hence, the truck is not the issue. The truck is simply exposing the fact that proper steps haven't been taken to allow use of the lot.

| You do not need a permit to park at the school after school hours. There are no signs posted anywhere. What's going the happen when the neighborhood folks start complaining they can't park on their street because we are parking in front on their houses?

| it is known all over the field who called the police. the guy with the silver truck did indeed brag about knowing people in "higher" places (i.e. the principle) he does not want to compete with teams selling things to raise money for tournaments or other possible vendors. at the end of the day he hurts himself more by being a bad business man and a baby. you do not need a permit for a public parking lot point blank. if the lot is not public then the claims of needing one would be legit. regardless something needs to be done and supporting that guy with the silver truck should stop because he is ruining our games. prime example was sunday during the all met vs. dolphins game. that game was stopped for damn near 30min because of that nonsense. it needs to stop. period.

| If we have a right to park there, then the case is closed. The police being called would make no difference because they can't, arbitrarily, enforce a rule that doesn't exist in the first place. I wonder if any conversations have taken place, with police dept, to address.

| FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT DONT KNOW THAT PRIVATE PROPERTY HAS A LAW DEALING WITH PARKING. YOU CANT PARK ON PRIVATE PROPERTY IN DC WITHOUT CONCIENT. IF PARKING WITHOUT PERMISSION THERES A 250.00 FINE AND YOUR VEHICLE CAN BE TOWED. THIS CAN HAPPEN IF THE PERSONS FROM THE PROPERTY CALL PARKING ENFORCEMENT.

| The issue is that we dont have permission to use lot. Be mad at the league heads who still haven't taken proper steps to get permission to use lot, despite the clear need for it. & yes, I will continue getting my curly fries and chicken tenders, from the silver truck, as I do every Sunday!

| Ok, so if the lot is public then there are no grounds for the towing of cars. Is this accurate? Can we get an official response from Commissioner(s)? Is parking not a basic & essential component? We shouldn't have to worry about our cars being ticketed and/or towed.
