| There are only two weeks left and the playoff picture is beginning to clear up.
Broncos (Middletown) vs Spartans (Bristol)
The Spartans could not field a team last week and it cost them 2 more losses. Now at 0-8 they face a hungry Broncos team led by WR Carlton. The Broncos offense is capable of putting up points and expect QB Ramos and WR Walters to hook up for a couple scores. Broncos 26 Spartans 0
Hawks (Waterbury) vs Spartans (Bristol)
The Spartans are just trying to make it to the finish line while WR TD.Steve and the Hawks are flying high coming off two wins and looking at a very possible 9-2 finish. Expect QB Gondeck and the Hawks offense to continue to soar and be able to "pad" the stats a little. Hawks 35 Spartans 0
Dirty Water (Waterbury) vs Raiders (Meriden)
Dirty Water is coming off a big win and Raiders are comin off a big loss. The Raiders offense struggles but QB Watson seems to make enough plays to keep them in games, while the Dirty Water offense has yet to find its identity or QB. Expect it to be close but PM(playmaker) Reggie and the Dirty Water defense should be able to get the win. Dirty Water 13 Raiders 12
YoungGunz (New Britain) vs Raiders (Meriden)
The Raiders play tough almost every week and they are not shy about letting the league know it. However they will be playing their second game of the day against one of the best teams in flag. Raiders WR Reuport has had a good season so far, but DB Madfast will limit his opportunities while DL Peterson will make it very difficult for Raiders QB Watson to get the ball off. Gunz roll in this one. YoungGunz 38 Raiders 0
Tig Ol Bitties (Danbury) vs Chiefs (Bristol)
Kittles currently has the Chiefs on the outside looking in of the PRO playoffs and needs a couple wins down the stretch to lock up a spot. Bitties on the other hand just needs to avoid losing a couple games in order to hold onto their playoff spot. TOB offense and QB Palmer is very capable of moving the football, they just need to finish drives and avoid turnovers. TOB gets it done. Tig Ol Bitties 20 Chiefs 12
Knights (Southington) vs Chiefs (Bristol)
The Chiefs have had a few tough losses this season but had a nice win last week as QB Coyne took over the offense. The Knights have also had a couple tough losses, both on the games final play. Look for DL Patterson and the Knights defense to dominate this game up front while QB Esmail picks apart the Chiefs secondary. Knights 32 Chiefs 0
YoungGunz (New Britain) vs Chargers (New Haven)
These two teams have long histories in CT flag football and the Chargers are one of the few teams that have beaten the Gunz multiple times. However, this Gunz team is very consistent with solid play on both sides of the ball, while the Chargers have struggled to field a team this season. Chargers WR Bond is having a very productive season, but the offense hasn't been consistent, while LB Alfren and the Gunz have the top ranked defense in the league. Their familiarity with one another could keep this competitive but look for the Gunz to remain undefeated. YoungGunz 24 Chargers 6
Games of the Week!!!!!!!
Chargers (New Haven) vs Broncos (Middletown)
Both teams have underperformed this season but both teams still control thier own destiny and NEED this win to secure a spot in the PRO playoffs. The Broncos defense has looked shaky but their secondary led by S McGarrah and DB Sylvester will attempt to hold Chargers WR Bond in check. QB Dino needs to get the Chargers offense moving and find another consistent target to throw to in order to have any chance down the stretch. The Chargers DL Lane and DL Parker will have to apply pressure and force some bad decisions cause QB Ramos is capable of putting up big numbers. Chargers show up and pull it out. Chargers 20 Broncos 18
Warriors (Southington) vs Tig Ol Bitties (Danbury)
These two teams are both fighting to lock up a PRO playoff spot and need this win. The Warriors are right in the playoff mix and are now fully loaded with their college boys. QB Conner and WR Dube are one of the best tandems in the league, they just lack experience in the flag game. On the other side QB Palmer has an experienced WR core led by Mack, Marrero and Kaszka. They will need it cause LB Chase runs a tight scheme on defense. The Bitties defense will only go as far as the pressure of DL Chad and DL Uhl will take them. If given time the young Warriors receiving core should be able to find the endzone. The Warriors seem to want it more. Warriors 26 Tig Ol Bitties 12
Knights (Southington) vs Trojans (Bridgeport)
This game is very important for seeding purposes as both teams have already locked up a PRO playoff spot. Seeding aside this is a rivalry game vs two VERY familiar teams at the top of their game. The Trojans come into this game with the #1 ranked offense led by QB Sam and WR Gill, WR Morris and WR CJ, while the Knights #2 ranked defense, led by LB Walker and DL Patterson, is very stingy and have the secondary of DB Sean and S Gemmell to match up with anyone. QB Esmail and the Knights #3 ranked offense also has a top ranked receiving core featuring WR Angiletta, WR Coles and TE Riddle, one of the best in the game. Trojans #3 ranked defense will need to get pressure from DL Williams, DL Collins and DL Davey in order to keep the Knights offense out of sinc. Knights seem to always win in Waterbury. Knights 26 Trojans 24
