| Last week of the regular season and there are still some games that can impact the playoff seedings.
Knights (Southington) vs Raiders (Meriden)
DL Carlos and the Raiders have had a tough inaugeral sesaon in the GCFFA only getting 1 win through 9 games and it doesn't get any easier. QB Esmail and the Knights offense are coming off a BIG win and look like they are getting into playoff mode. Look for LB Walker and leagues top ranked defense to shut down QB Watson and the Raiders offense. Knights 37 Raiders 0
Raiders (Meriden) vs Spartans (Bristol)
QB Cushion seems to have the Spartans ready to finish out the season after their "no show" two weeks ago and this may be their best shot at a win. QB Watson and the young Raiders may only have 1 win on their record but they showed up EVERY week and played EVERY game. WR Reuport should get some catches and the Raiders hold on and get the win. Raiders 19 Spartans 6
Trojans (Bridgeport) vs Dirty Water (Waterbury)
OL Prado has Dirty Water looking to lock up a PRO playoff spot and a win here would do just that. QB Reggie has the Dirty Water offense moving the ball and scoring points but DL Collins and DL Davey have the speed to create problems for a mobile QB. Trojans should put up points early and make Dirty Water try and play catch up. Trojans 28 Dirty Water 6
Warriors (Southington) vs Chiefs (Bristol)
After a slow start to the season the Warriors have slowly climbed up the standings and into a PRO playoff spot. QB Connor and WR Dube are back full time and the offense is beginning to click. Chiefs however have struggled and had to resort to moving WR Coyne to the QB position. I don't see the Chiefs having enough to win this one. Warriors 26 Chiefs 12
Dirty Water (Waterbury) vs Chiefs (Bristol)
The Chiefs are looking at the OPEN playoffs while QB Reggie has Dirty Water right in the PRO playoff mix. DB Kittles and the Chiefs have struggled to stop anyone on defense while WR Chounaird and WR Moffet have the Dirty Water offense playing very well as of late. Dirty Water gets the win and the PRO seed. Dirty Water 19 Chiefs 12
YoungGunz (New Britain) vs Broncos (Middletown)
WR Carlton and the Broncos have had a couple TOUGH losses this season which may cost them a PRO playoff spot, but a win here still gives them a shot. QB Moe and WR Walters need to get on the same page to have a chance cause the Gunz have THE BEST secondary in flag. LB Quiles and the Gunz locked up the #1 seed, but will be ready to finish out the regular season. YoungGunz 32 Broncos 13
YoungGunz (New Britain) vs Tig Ol Bitties (Danbury)
QB Roberts and the Gunz have been on the hook a few times this season but did what great teams do and found a way to win. QB Palmer and the Bitties on the other hand cannot seem to keep it together for an entire game. If Bitties DL Uhl and DL Chad can apply pressure and the offense can be consistent they can stay in this one. YoungGunz 21 Tig Ol Bitties 6
Games of the Week!!!!!!!!
Trojans (Bridgeport) vs Warriors (Southington)
DB Paul and the Trojans limp into this one after back to back losses and they face a fully loaded Warriors team hungry for a BIG win. The Trojans feature one of the leagues best offenses led by QB Sam, WR Gill, WR CJ and WR Delroy, but the Warriors run a disciplined defensive scheme run by LB Chase. The Warriors offense led by QB Connor, WR Dube, WR Simpson and TE Balch is very young and very athletic and will test the Trojans secondary of DB Credle and DB Smith. However, the Trojans d line applies lots of pressure which usually puts teams behind in down and distance. Trojans get back to winning. Trojans 30 Warriors 13
Chargers (New Haven) vs Tig Ol Bitties (Danbury)
The Chargers look like they are beginning to get into playoff form and the reinforcements should be there for the remainder of the season. The additions of WR Newkirk and WR Jenkins should relieve the pressure on QB Dino and allow the offense to open up a bit. Bitties have solid d line play and last week the secondary seemed to wake up a bit raking in 5 picks. WR Mack has been having a good season for the Bitties but the offense cannot seem to finsh drives. The Chargers defensive pressure led by DL Lane and DL Parker should limit any big play opportunities for the Bitties. Chargers 19 Tig Ol Bitties 7
Hawks (Waterbury) vs Chargers (New Haven)
The Hawks have to be on the biggest surprises of the season. Even though their roster is loaded with BIG names like QB Gondek, WR Dunbar, DB Kirkland and WR Fagan, we had to see how it would translate to the field, and they showed that they are a true championship contendor. Chargers on the other hand have to be one of the biggest dissapointments posting a sub .500 record and on the brink of the PRO playoffs. However the Chargers seem to have gotten all their players playoff eligible and WR Shank will have them ready to play. Chargers WR Jenkins is a game changer, but the Hawks defense is gritty up front and athletic in the secondary. Hawks squeak it out. Hawks 19 Chargers 18
