| The playoff seedings are set and there are some great matchups.
OPEN Playoffs
1. Broncos (Middletown) vs 4. Spartans (Bristol)
QB Cushion has managed to rally just enough players to finish out the regular season but they have a tough opening round matchup against WR Carlton and the Broncos. The Broncos have a solid offense with QB Ramos and WR Walters and have the league leading interception duo of DB McGarrah and DB Sylvester. The Broncos should dominate all phases of the game.

2. Raiders (Meriden) vs 3. Chiefs (Bristol)
The Raiders are new to league and for the most part have competed all season. Raiders QB Watson may not light up the stat sheet but is mobile and always seems to be able to make a play. DL Wilson and the Chiefs will have to contain him and not give him extended opportunities. The Chiefs offense primarily runs through WR Coyne, who also played QB due to necessity. The Raiders defense and LB Watson will have to limit big plays and force the Chiefs to sustain drives. The Chiefs pull it out.

PRO Playoffs
1. YoungGunz (New Britain) vs 8. Chargers (New Haven)
The Chargers have not played well this season and their seeding reflects that. Now they face the #1 ranked YoungGunz in the first round. Chargers WR Bond has basically willed his team into the PRO playoffs this season and has been QB Dino's primary target, however the YoungGunz defensive secondary of DB Laneris and DB Lee should be able to contain him and force the Chargers to count on WR Jenkins and WR Newkirk to make more plays. The YoungGunz offense led by QB Roberts is ranked #1 in the league and has multiple threats in WR Gonzlaez, WR Quiles and WR Lee. The Chargers secondary has struggled this season but do get consistent pressure from DL Lane and DL Parker. YoungGunz pull out another close one.

2. Knights (Southington) vs 7. Dirty Water (Waterbury)
OL Prado and Dirty Water have earned their PRO seed with some key wins this season, but QB Esmail and the Knights locked up their seed weeks ago and are now thinking championship. QB Reggie has been playing solid football down the stretch but faces the leagues #1 ranked defense led by LB Walker and DL Patterson. Dirty Water lacks the "big" names on defense but plays very physical and could wear you out. The Knights however also have the leagues #1 ranked offense with a physical o line and versatile TE in Riddle. The Knights have too much in this one.

3. Trojans (Bridgeport) vs 6. Tig Ol Bitties (Danbury)
Tig Ol Bitties are a talented team that seems to fly under the radar. QB Palmer has a "blue collar" receiving core of TE Uhl, WR Mack, WR Kaszka and WR Marrero that can move the chains but struggles to finish. The Trojans get consistent pressure up front from DL Davey and DL Collins and have fast athletic d backs that make it difficult to sustain drives. Tig Ol Bitties defense also begins up front with DL Uhl and DL Chad but lacks the athleticism in the secondary. The Trojans offense is very electrifying with WR Morris, WR Gill, WR Buchanan and WR Smith, who all know how to find the end zone. Trojans get the win.

4. Hawks (Waterbury) vs 5. Warriors (Southington)
The Warriors struggled early in the season but find themselves right in the PRO mix. QB Connor and WR Dube have lit up some very good defenses since returning full time and RB Savino runs very hard and sets the tone on offense. The Hawks are no slouch on defense. They get constant pressure up front with DL Hunter and DL Etabee and have one of the best cover corners in the league in DB Kirkland. The Hawks offense is also led by one of the best tandems in the league with QB Gondek and WR Dunbar. The Warriors are gritty up front and apply lots of pressure on opposing offenses with DL Noland and the "gremlins" and run a very tight secondary scheme led by LB Chase. This should be a really good game.
