| My fellow flag football teams. Male and female. After hearing the verdict of the Trayvon Martin case. I couldn't help but think about the money we pour in Florida's economy at the Nationals in January each year. I'm sending a plea out to all to petition the USFTL to change their championship site from Florida to another state. Example maybe Atlanta, Georgia could be a new site. If the USFTL refuse to change it. Let's stand as a family ban this tournament.

| We are all hurt by the outcome of the T. Martin's case. This is just another example that shows the inequalities of the US justice system. Unfortunately, changing the site doesn't change anything because this crap happens everywhere, not just FL.

| I was thinking the same thing! It may be happening all over but the same can be said for the bus boycotts. Rosa Parks was the flashpoint. Maybe Florida can be for us. The Stand your ground law needs to be rescinded. I have a feeling they will only say no, because those who run the tourney are not affected directly by the Trayyvon Martin case, But their pockets could be if our teams refuse to go. | I think its a good suggestion. It has to start somewhere and people tend to be more receptive to change when it affects their pockets.

| It's a start! Do you have any suggestions or ideas? How about we start here, as a community lets lift each other up, encourge each other, be positive, be supportive, be good role models etc... If Zimerman had been any of these things listed above Trayvon could be here to hug & kiss his mother. Put yourself in the Martin's family shoes, how would you feel or better yet it's thousands of families who has experince losing a love one in a similar situtaion and it goes unmentioned. We have to have a voice as a community. We need to do more as a community. Let's start there. I'm sure someone said the same thing to MLK with the Montgomery bus boycott

| It starts at home. First, we need to stop the black on black violence. Why don’t we protest Chicago or Detroit when we kill each other over NOTHING? We like to get angry when its black on white but we kill each other by the second and NO ONE SAYS A THING. Let’s start in our own community and then take a stance. Thanks

| Absolutly! Again we as a community need to do better. At home, at school, on social media as a whole but also know that the black on black crimes are not being televized on the news like the Trayvon Martin's case. I believe that the majoriy of the community is upset because the injustice was so obvious. But we as a community need to be more involved. We need to get involved in our community watch and so forth. If it's injustice in Chicago or wherever we should take a stand as a community. Let me be clear I don't have my panties in a bunch only over Trayvon Martin, it's in a bunch for all injustice of minorities. Also I'm just stating my opinion and know I respect yours for what it is.

Entry #: 4078276 If you don't stand for something then yes you will fall for anything, so with that being said TAKE A STAND, no matter how small that stand may be. Ely deciding to boycott Nationals may seem small, but who knows, it could turn into something big! Don't knock ppl for trying to take a stand because they are tired of it and want to do something. If you don't agree, there is no need to comment. Read it and keep moving. Giving money to the homeless person down the street isn't going to change the fact that he's homeless but it will help him. What they're speaking to in this message is the same thing!
