The one and only official rankings.....the great h@mbino has attempted his own.

1. Minnetonka 31-2 (Lost to Dundas)
2. Park 24-15 (On a roll and playing to there potential when it matters in July)
3. Cobras 17-10 (Swept Lakers won Park National)
4. Capitals 19-8 (Won 4 straight league games after tough midseason slump)
5. Lakers 17-12 (Lost 3 straight Hopkins,Cobras, Patriots. Could youth and full schedule be there downfall?)
6. Angels 16-17 (Won 6 straight in league play. Like Park a veteran team that wins when it matters)
7. Fan HQ 17-5 (Best in Skyline, young and fun)
8. Hopkins 13-6 (Can hit the baseball with the best of them)
9. Bloomington 18-9 (Bloomington or Hopkins one will make tourney other will go home)
10. Lyons Pub 16-13 (Having a average season, can there hitters put up enough runs to keep up?)

Others: Highland Park, Hogs, River Pirates

I'll defer to your rankings except for one. You've got Cobras too high. Yes they won the Park National, I'll give them their props for that. But could that be a case of the Lakers seeing team's top arms with all the hype around them?

To answer your question. The Cobras beat the Lakers both games and recently hit around the Lakers ace pretty well and won the regular season in the best league top to bottom. Say what you want but based on the the season so far they deserve this ranking. Now come playoffs we will see if the are deserving in a 3 game series.

1. Minnetonka
2. Lakers perhaps the best mif in A and a solid catcher. A few good sticks, good OF defense and team speed plus solid enough pitching. Only down side is maybe the ability to not put up enough runs against August pitching
3. Pub has an order to rival anyone when they are on. Defense should be good enough but have heard they have been kicking it around this summer. It all comes down to pitching and they will live or die because of it. I will put them this high but have zero faith in their staff
4. Park not as veteran as they use to be but Lindstrom back in August will help one of the top 3-5 orders in A ball pitching is strong enough with defense being the question mark especially at the corners and 2B.
5. Angles veteran team with solid pitching gives them a legit shot
6. Hopkins young, well rounded club
7. Edina I have heard is better then anyone in RV except Tonka and Park
8. Capitals I still think they are a legit top ten team
9. Bloomington going to be fun to watch the RV playoffs and I think teams east of the river should quit complaining that the RV should only have two teams qualify Bloomington, Edina or Hopkins would probably be #1 or #2 in SP or SL
10 I guess I will go with Fan HQ but I personally know nothing about them. Heard they are similar to Hopkins and Bloomington
11. Cobras even though they won the PN I do not think they are that good. How can a team be even considered for post season noise when they have nearly no pitching at all??? If Borman quit they are probably glad to be done with him but arguably their best player too.
12. OTHERS NEED NOT APPLY

Wow. Why is St. Paul getting so punked by everyone? If it were the usual suspects (Shammys, AFU, etc)at the top of the standings, I'm sure they'd be getting some love. St. Paul is a good league with a lot of parity. Caps are the real dealthey can hit with any team in the state. Highland has beat quality teams and seem to win a bunch of close games. The River Pirates have great pitching and don't make errors. St. Paul is no joke. Where's the love?

It is amazing that forget abouuut it has HIS LYONS PUB team #3, and talks about hearing things. Man up you clown and admit your are Mr. Conley its funny but you make yourself out to be a absolute idiot. How can you have the Cobras #10 and your team #3? I wonder

Cobras did lose Borman. Has a John Camp syndrome and cant get the team concept.

Cobras have Schroeder. Diaz. Urseth. Shoberg. Germar. Nothing dominant but plenty of quality arms to win a series. They probably will match up with the Merchants or Rats. I guess that's why we play the game. Rankings mean nothing. Good teams put it together when the playoffs start. Everyone gets a clean slate.
