Graduated 2008 from Flower Mound High School. Played varsity baseball Junior and Senior year for FMHS.
Recruited out of High School by Tulane University and Kansas University. After battling tendinitis and broken hand senior year of high school signed with Ranger College in Ranger, TX. Left Ranger and played for Paris JC. Starting catcher at PJC and #2 starting pitcher. Hit .349 with 45 RBI and 3HR as a sophomore. Also, 5th in conference for starting pitchers with a 3.32 ERA for starting pitchers. Left PJC and played two years for Southern Arkansas University as a relief pitcher. Won two conference titles and finished in the top 30 nationwide Division 2 baseball.
