| I texted and emailed you notifying that I had a broken tailbone and was out for 5 weeks with proof (from the doc etc) to attempt and keep my eligibility however no response to either messages and now I see that I'm ineligible for next year unless I'm an exempt again?
Not what I expected at all. Thanks for the courtesy response(s).

| I was out for 5 weeks of training and lost 14lbs amongst two weeks out of work, couldn't drive etc...didn't train at all since you're so concerned....stress fractured coccyx and two pilodonial cysts lanced.
Anything else dipshit?

And I never screwed anyone for a tourney team so save that attempt of tarnishing my name and character.
I spoke with Busta, I had 4 games in (one was a forfeit) and I had every intention of meeting the min 8 game requirement to keep my eligibility with 10 or 12 games (5 or 6 weeks left).
So Mr No-name, since you know me so well yet you choose to hide behind an Alias, call me or talk to me and we can hash this out because this keyboard cowboy stuff is childish.

You're the exact reason why I tailed off my commitment to this game....I actually wanted to stay in this league. If you want to keep this going, 30% of the league has my number....otherwise keep your fucking mouth shut about me!
Smitty, feel free to close this up. I don't appreciate the fact that you didn't respond to me but I've never said anything bad about you nor will I today.
I'm done, its not worth any more time spent.

Let me start with, are you FUCKING serious? Over the many wonderful years you've spent in this league, I've responded to all of your texts and all of your phone calls.
When I don't respond to you texts or respond to your emails you decide the best course of action is to go online and flip out?
Then, as people attack you, you tell them to call you? AND you criticize them for tarnishing your name and character? What are you doing to me in this very post? And why haven't you called me like you want everyone else to do?
I wish I could screen shot my phone and show you that I never got your texts or emails. I didn't. I'd love to know why you haven't called.
Finally, you and everyone else need to sit your asses down and read the rules. Here's what you've gotten wrong so far.....
1, If you are on the DL you are not eligible for the playoffs unless you make your games despite the DL stint. It would keep you vested for next year, but you would still be listed ineligible.
2. If there is a forfeit, the forfeiting team (yours) gets no games played. The opposing team's entire roster gets a game played because there is no way for the league to know who was there and who was not. In this case you only have 3 games on the books.
This is the first I've heard of your tailbone, your DL, your doctor's note, your intentions to play, or anything else about you this year. Not one person mentioned you were trying or needed to talk to me.
Thanks for calling me out though! One of the perks of being President!
Who's my replacement? Time to start thinking about it friends...

| Are you guys really serious? Why would anybody want to take a run a Smitty? Do you guys really want to run him out? This league is supposed to be fun and recreational, I totally understand it has grown and is competitive now. That doesn't mean their has to be added stress and BS that Ian has to deal with. This is a VOLUNTARY JOB. He is not getting paid to deal with liars, cheaters, manipulators, or general assholes. The guys that run this league do it for our enjoyment. Highly doubt it's a feather in a cap for a resume. These people have jobs and families and normal lives. Respect that they donate as much as they do. This league would be shit without Ian and co. running it. Period. Their is no mystery why Ian has gotten league director of the year 2x. Their is not a equivalent to our president, most of the guys have a difficult enough time running a team, never mind the entire league. Before anymore coups are organized, think about that. Matt, this doesn't concern me, so let me only say you have a manager for a reason, he should be handling this with the president off a forum before the playoffs start. Being a coach and a league official is a thankless job, all you guys should try to thank your coaches and officials instead of criticize them, in the words of jrsdbson

| No one wants our jobs Smitty, which is fine. But everyone is quick to criticize, same guys who don't participate in the meetings or don't go. It's a thankless job. You're a great president and have done everything to make this the best Sunday morning league in the state. It's been awesome helping you run this league and an honor. You don't deserve any scrutiny nor should put up with it.

| Seems that we need everyone to pass a reading comprehension class to play in this league with all of the "misunderstandings" of the rules (or maybe the reps for each team at the meetings need to pay more attention).
I've only been in the league for 3 years and Ian is a great president and it has been a pleasure playing here. I'd like to continue that.
