| There were 27 golfers last that played. The game was a shamble with two net scores counting for the team total. There were 9 3-man teams. The teams were randomly picked by the computer with three classes of players arranged by handicap indexes. Par last night would be 70. The scores ranged from a high of 64 to a low of 55.

There were two team skins on Holes #2 with a two net best ball score of 6 and Hole # 3 with a two net best ball score of 3. Both skins were by the third place team of Mike Lamb - Loren Rials - Andy Flynn. Total skin pot was $135.00.
Next week will be a team yellow ball event of either 3 or 4 man teams. This will depend upon the number of players. Everyone remember to sign up in the pro shop. There was no sign up sheet last night.
The Player of the Year Shootout will be Tuesday September 17. The top 10 players in the standings that can play that evening will be playing. All other members are encouraged to come out and watch the event. Due to the game being played that night we are going to start the round at 4:30. With daylight getting shorter the earlier we can start the better it will be.
The D.I.C.K. is September 21 and 22. Cost for this tournament is $80.00 per player. All of the proceeds are paid out in prizes money give aways and awards. The cost of golf IS NOT included in the tournament fees, e.g. carts or green fees, etc. Non-members are welcome to play so long as they have a handicap that can be verified. If you have a friend that you want to invite do it.
If you are going to play please tell us anytime you see Bill Wilson or myself. Bill puts on this event and I sort of help. If you have any questions about the tournament itself or the format ask us.
The year end 18 hole Yellow Ball tournament will be played on Saturday September 28. I will get with Jesse and get the tee times arranged soon. Mid-morning will probably be the best time. I will give more info when I get it.
