| Seriously-do we have to have a pitcher get killed in FOY play before we switch to wood?
Or we could go to bbcore bats and have less responsive, more expensive bats. That would be dumb. lol
Seen too many good dudes dodging bullets up there this season.

| I think its a great idea. ALL levels should b wood bat, much safer and I think it might bring on more competitive teams/players into our league since thr r no wood bat leagues in the area. Which also means more $ to improve our field ect....

| In the interest of attempting to prepare for changes I would like to weigh in on this discussion.
Link attached is a study comparing performance of the several types of bats.
http://www.acs.psu.edu/drussell/bats/NCAA-stats.html
I think we should discuss the different options of rules/restrictions we are to be faced with.
While a wood bat league would be intriguing I think there should be a graduated period of moving from no restrictions to finally becoming wood or a combination of wood/BBCOR.
I feel that the options are as follows:
1 BESR / BBCOR / wood / wood composite 2 BBCOR / wood / wood composite 3 Wood / wood composite 4 Wood (MLB Rule)
Thoughts?

| Whatever helps me get even MORE hits off the Naturals is ok with me. JK. I think it would take a couple years to make a complete transition. You are asking every person in the league to go out and buy 2 or more wooden bats or go out and buy a couple hundred dollar new BBCOR bat. If this is something that is going to happen in the future, I think it should slowly transition to allow people time to replace their current bat that was used to beat the Naturals in the Championship. HAHA, love ya Trevor

| We would take anyone one on with wood if they wanted to use bbcore. Those things are dead. Bunch of money for dead metal. A tooth pic has more pop.
