Does anyone have any information on this for next year? I heard Oxford and Adams will be moving to RED.

Not sure about Adams, but no way Oxford should move to the Red division, they need to stay in the white...

I think it would be great if it looked like this:
Red: Clarkston, Lake Orion, Oxford, Rochester, Rochester Adams, Stoney Creek, Troy, Troy Athens
White: Southfield, Southfield Lathrup, Farmington, FHH, Oak Park, Bloomfield Hills, West Bloomfield, Pontiac
Blue: Basically the same

Red- Clarkston, Lake Orion, Troy, Troy Athens, West Bloomfield, Stoney Creek

White- Rochester, Adams, Southfield, Harrison, Oxford, Oak Park

Blue- Farmington, North Farmington, Lathrup, Bloomfield HIlls, Groves, Seaholm

Black- Avondale, Berkley, Pontiac, Royal Oak, Ferndale, Hazel Park

You'd put Bloomfield Hills (enrollment 1,954) in a division with mostly 1,200 student schools? Really?

Yeah, I agree. Maybe flip Bloomfield Hills and Harrison. Then all the Farmington schools are together as well.

Yeah I didn't put too much thought into it. It was more of a competition factor, as in Harrison doesn't belong in this version of the Blue. I do think most schools enrollment trend downward after 2 schools combine. Not sure if that's the case for Bloomfield or not.

Just throwing something out there for fun.

To build on putting the Farmington schools together, move Bloomfield to Red, Stoney to White and Harrison to Blue. Get those 3 Rochester schools together.

Just curious... where did you hear that the OAA was moving to 4 divisions? This is the first wind I've caught of that.

lol I didn't, just threw something out there for fun and discussion. Figured 4 division and a hypothtical realignment would maybe generate some conversation... By no means is this happening to my knowledge

BTW, I'm from the old school OAA where there actually was 4 divisions... late 90's

Oh yes, I remember the days like they were yesterday. Back when Clawson, Ortonville Brandon, Royal Oak Dondero, Royal Oak Kimball, Pontiac Northern, Pontiac Central, Waterford Mott, Waterford Kettering, Bloomfield Lahser, Bloomfield Andover, Madison Heights Madison and Madison Heights Lamphere graced the OAA gridiron.

I think 4 divisions would be great. Then you can have a red/white crossover and then a blue/black crossover. I agree that if this format happened, we would have to pair up the rochester schools together and the farmington schools together. Eventually, Bloomfield will have to go to the red at that point.

Red- Clarkston, Lake Orion, Troy, Troy Athens, Bloomfield Hills, West Bloomfield

White- Oak Park, Southfield, Southfield Lathrup, Oxford, Seaholm, Groves

Blue- Farmington, Harrison, North Farmington, Adams, Rochester, Stoney Creek

Black- Ferndale, Hazel Park, Royal Oak, Pontiac, Berkeley, Avondale

However, Some teams would have to get better and some teams would have to collaspe at that point. Teams in the white and the blue are interchangeable. The red divison could bring up two of the best teams from the white and drop the two worst teams in the red. Same thing with the White and the Blue divison. If teams are really struggling or show a lot of progression, they can make teams skip divisions. I would like two Crossover Games: Red/White, Blue/Black. The next week can include a Blue/White Crossover and then the OAA Red/MAC Red crossover. The Black Divison would have the option of having a non-league game. The next week can be non-league matchup for both white/ blue divisons.
Here is the problem: How would teams have rivalry games?
