AD's voted it in today, here it is...

RED = Clarkston, Lake Orion, Troy, Troy Athens, West Bloomfield, Bloomfield Hills, Oxford, Rochester Stoney Creek.

WHITE = Rochester, Rochester Adams, Southfield, Farmington Harrison, Oak Park, North Farmington, Birmingham Seaholm, Royal Oak.

BLUE = Birmingham Groves, Auburn Hills Avondale, Farmington, Pontiac, Hazel Park, Ferndale, Berkley, Southfield Lathrup.

This is not a good decision for two schools. Royal Oak and North Farmington are NOT ready to move up, yet. Give them a couple years to reestablish their programs and they would be ready.

The decision to align by size only is not why most schools got into this league (was about size, record, etc). I can see some teams getting out in the near future.

I think it is great that Oxford is being added to Red. The OAA Red has been down in competition for many years and I think Oxford is going to be a great addition.

I think Clarkston, Lake Orion, Stoney Creek and Oxford will be the cream of the crop. Hopefully, the Troy programs will come back. Not sure where the WB program is going. I had some high hope for them. I know nothing about Bloomfield.

I think Oxford to the Red was good, I don't know if I love the changes between the Blue and White. Lost some rivals, like breaking up the Birmingham schools. I think Bloomfield Hills can compete with the middle of the Red right away, they belong at the top. I would have loved for all the Rochester schools to go into one division, but that's alright. On a side note, I dont Stoney Creek will be the "cream of the crop." The next two years, the team could struggle for 3-4 wins a year.

This is very accurate! I believe the vote between AD's was 22-2 in favor of the realignment. I am guessing the 2 that voted against were Royal Oak & North Farmington.
