| Just think how damn good No Mercy would have been if Maggs would have taken Bob Vincent instead of Kwame Montanari, who is a bust as a number 1 pick. They will likely still win anyway, but at least that gives some teams a chance.

| That is a very accurate observation. Dave Williams wouldn't have been bad at #1either. BTW, no other team has a chance even if I keep playing the way that I am.

| Come on BBL puff-up your chest and dont give into the Mercy. They're guardable and beatable. Out hustle David and make him know that you're in his front door where ever he goes (also if no one has noticed he is probably top 3 rebounder this year - box him every bleeping time). Don't let Tony walk into a 3 point shot. If he's relaxed he can hurt you, if stressed he can hurt them. You have to defend Brantly. Difficult to say but if you dedicate your 4th guy on him he plays big. Keep the Captain off the boards, period - and push him to the middle away from the bank shot. You have to beat those 4 first and hope that your 5 6 and 7 guys play with pride vs Jason and Eric because they can blow the horns all the way to the party if you don't stuff em all game!! Make this Message Board electric BBL and deliver the "humble-pie".

| If you really want to know the truth,listen up.1st off nobody in the league can check David Williams one on one including Hugh,the mercy is going to put that on display this week against the chumps.The Mercy has such team chemistry this season we haven't had to rely on David scoring,but we might unleash him on the chumps to shut all the chatter they have been talking,and by the way Eric and Jason would be a number on 2 and 3 guy on any other team,so don't under estimate those two.

| OK, I'm an opponent of NO MERCY and I'm competitive, which is why I'm still playing basketball at 46 even though most everything on my body hurts the day after games...but I'm here to tell you that assuming nobody gets hurt on No Mercy, no team will come within single digits of them. There isn't enough talent or ability to guard all of their guys...I hear ya talking...I respect the gameplan idea and they are valid...but teams don't have the manpower or discipline to carry out the gameplan. The one hope to upset them would be that they didn't take the league serious...BUT THEY DO! This is Brantley and Dave and Tony and Maggs primary league.....Dave plays in the CBC but scores like 5 points a game...He much prefers and looks forward to this one. I see them go through spells of goofing around out there and teams making a run, but if Brantley wants to get to the rim or if Dave wants to get past someone, they can do it. Tony used to be good, he kinda sucks now..but even his sucking is better than 95% of the league.....I have watched him play and he looks terrible but he is like top 5 in scoring still..and they all are in shape and they play enough defense....I have watched about 4000 rec league games and I'm predicting they walk through this season. I hope I'm wrong...but I'm probably not.
