I hope you are all enjoying the extended white winter. I'm over it...
Anywho, I am on the RLYBA Board and they are looking for fundraising opportunities. I was wondering if you all could help me. I think it would be fun to have a picnic with some baseball. The only money people have to put out is the money to eat the donated food (I'll work on that...). I thought it would be fun to have a pre-season exhibition game between two recent state title winning teams. Or maybe we could have a clinic with the Knights efforts and make teams up of kids and men then play a game. We could get t-shirts and promote the Independent league schedules. It could be great publicity for the two teams, and potentially a good fundraiser for RLYBA. They want us to sell a bunch of stuff, and I'm not into that. Hoping we can get around selling raffle tickets and coupon books to some extent. Any interest? It would probably be just a one day commitment from you all... I can do the background legwork
