| Important: In 2005 the East Rutherford Little League memorialized long time ERLL Coach Tom Schreiber by placing a plaque on a stone between the majors field & the minors field. Coach Tom was a long time volunteer of our league dedicated to teaching players the game of baseball. He was always there for the kids and became a true friend to many. Coach Tom & I began coaching together when neither of us had kids in the program. We did it for the kids.
Recently I've seen children climbing on the Coach Tom Memorial like it's some piece of playground equipment...I am asking all parents , Coaches & players to please respect the "Coach Tom Rock.". Do not allow your children to climb on it but explain to them what it means.
