| I was thinking to help all teams we do a league sticker that goes on all bats that are approved if the do not have the sticker then the other team will know it is not a legal bat and we can go from there. this way everyone is on the same page. what are everyone's thoughts on the idea?

| I'm not against the idea of having a uniform, league wide, policy on bats. My concerns with this idea, are as follows: 1) How many stickers does the league print? 2) Would the league have to have a "bat" night, where all bats to be used that season, must be presented to the executive? 3) Who enforces said rule? 4) New bats purchased "in season". Would they have to be shown to the executive for a sticker?

| I think the following would work 1) day of diamond clean up everyone brings bats that are going to be used to it and they would be approved and the unique league sticker would be put on. 2) if new bats are purchased we can look at one offs like that durning the year and maybe have the bats brought to league meeting to get stickers 3)put in rule that if it doesn't have the sticker and you go in to the bats box with it and the catcher asks the umpire about the bat and it is defined that it has no league approved sticker- I suggest the team is fined and the player is ejected 4)this could be discussed and are my thoughts only on it but this is what is happening in other league and is a safety thing now in slo pitch different things are being done like compression test ect which we aren't going that far but an idea that this way the league is completly aware of whats legal and everyone knows so its one standard. 5)I just believe this way everyone is on the same page instead of looking at pictures and stuff like that

| Does a sticker go against spn or any other bat rules? I asked about this a couple years ago and was told if we put a sticker on bats it would make them un-usable in competitive ball? Just asking.
