| Good to put back up a write up and focus on what is most important the season at hand, not a Trip to VA ( but good luck to the squads rep CT,but that's a little down the road)..so Its back to business type till my hands hurt baby!..Here I go with my Picks for Sunday (14-4 in two weeks)..
Assassins(5-1)vs Red Stars(2-3):
Nice Morning game to start the week. The Assassins not surprising that to me where they record stands at 5-1 could have been 6-0 but the last couple weeks have been strange for a team that for the last couple springs been putting up good numbers scoring wise. New faces for Troy Brown who been struggling the last couple of weeks 1 TD, 5 Ints the last three weeks granted he rushed for 2 in those weeks but offense have been a struggle ..No Ron Black?? Carlos Amaro? his bright spot have Camacho 8 catches 155 yards 3 TDS will need a little more help coming into the next weeks ( STEELERS, BEARS, Gunz) need to save that Defense which is THE TEAM strong point at the moment.Lead By Shields 14 flags, 4 Int , JP 11 sacks among league best with a team total of 23 on the year is most impressive. Red Stars Gor squad just need to slip in back to the Playoff scene cause looking on the outside with 19 teams and you not one of the TOP 10 is a indictment. A real good team.Gor 881 yards passing 9 TDS, 9INTS cant be a good when games on the line cause that's how most of their games were blown on a turnover.Rick padilla 148 yards rushing 3 TDS solid for him.On Defense Patterson leads with 3 INTs which don't allow much. Now I say what Assassin Team show a team that offense can show up and have they defense do more scheme wise or a Team that will have a veteran QB like Gor game a close one...I'm say Assassins win this just goin put up more points with a way better Defense...!ASSASSINS 26-15
Knights(3-3)vs Bears(3-3) :
Same ol ISH just a different day..ISH vs ISH ..This a god matchup between to teams trying to stay in the middle of the back at least to remain in the playoffs. Knights Ish did I hear about 7 INTS in a week ? If so that wont get it done against nobody. Ish 7 TDS ,11 INTS (leads league) with guys like Hussey, Coles, even Shank (wow) you should not be having numbers like that!..A solid team over the years might be time to start looking for young studs for the future..Playing against the Bears with a weaker secondary might help you this week but its a morning game so you better wake up or get woke up. Bears Ish on another hand playing well for the Bears his 1082 yards and 17 TDS make him a viable MVP type guy but must pull out games against elite guys, this team is not Franchise so don't look for numbers like that this week .Arriga 344 yards receiving 4 TDS among leagues best. Rodriguez 5 TDS make another target for him. The Knights vs Bears is a simple game to call just by seeing who comes out establish they temple and have depth oh a QB who will not lose they head or the ball..Im say this is a close one but I see Veterans complete this one a fight to the finish..KNIGHTS 28-26
Broncos(1-4) vs Hitsquad(3-2):
Well this a game might be a little easier to call . Hitsquad will come out ticked off they last week lost vs the Assassins where they only allowed one score and still lost. Broncos a young team that has had they fair share of let downs. Hitsquad the leagues best run team will establish they dominance over this team plan and simple 600 yards in five games don't plan on passing too much and least that stellar Defense control the fight. Williams 4 Ints, McIntosh 3 Ints and just too much for a tema just getting a feel for how tough the league is and this is as tough as they come..Prep to be HIT..SQUAD that is..HITSQUAD 20-6
Vikings(4-2)vs Elite(3-3):
I really don't know about The Vikings cause they showed me exactly what Im talking scoring points.Last week got kicked around by the Hawks. Jarred Hunter offense which on Paper seem Pretty good and knowledgeable veterans around need to put up points or losing this game will be ashame.Hunter 600 yards with 6 TDS..needs to help the defense once again. Lorenti and Fisher are solid WRS . Elite a team trying to get in the Playoffs by knocking off the Vikes would do great for confidence plus a WE don't need a Reggie Woodward boost. A win gets you in the Playoff hunt for sure but a loss will be something you cant afford...Vikings will you show that you got scoring on your mind ? I think it will be enough to have you safe face for this week but close YES..VIKINGS 18-14
Seahawks(1-4)vs Gunz(6-0):
Oh Boy I would like to say making the Champs mad all over the Board was something the Seahawks didn't need .Enough of this Drama Gunz and Commish. Gunz WE ALL know you guys makes decisions best for your team anyway, most teams wish they could have the hardware to talk, but stop your talk cause your play speaks anyway and always LOUDER. Roberts most likely the Front runner for MVP, nothing new , a slew of WRS and the defense that makes all teams come down a notch no matter what. The Wolves just in a bad spot here..I'm not really going go on Stats this write up be Honest this wont be close..a couple good drives by The Seahawks but Great Drives by The Gunz will dominant this game ..so If you want to see Roberts and his squad having fun by the end of the game just stay tuned!! Too MANY GUNZ ..( GUNZ 38-6
Hawks(4-2)vs Elite(3-3): This could be bad for the Elite if they come up short in the early game, playing this one will be oh so important.The Hawks are a surprise team coming from Waterbury ..I like the team , Young , Play hard, and actually are good especially when they have they QB Gronek. His 1000 yards passing with 13 TDS, 3 INTS is one of the Best Quarterbacks in the league. Dunbar is among the Best Wideouts in the league . keeping them at the 6 spot now where I think they will move up cause I see Elite ran down from the early game and this will be a important game for the Hawks as well...Hawk Hogan what chu goin do? HAWKS 20-12
Wolves(1-5)vs Steelers(5-0) :
Well lets get ready for a Rocket ..Wolves will come out play hard and as tough as they can but honestly not one player on their team will keep up with Jamie. lol .Serious his numbers in 5 games along with his name gives us a great afternoon show so get ready. His 1,100 yards threw the air 17 TDS makes him a MVP candidate . His Defense 17 sacks , 7 INTs have been rarely battle tested yet this year with The Assassins coming will be the number 3 team vs number 2 so a tune up fight will make sense and The Wolves are just searching for some positives finishing the year..STEELERS 34-12
Bulldogs(3-2)vs Ducks (4-2):
Strong Playoff implications have this being my GAME OF THE WEEK : Bulldogs are very surprising this year. AVERY talented team, but who the Hell are they ? should be up there with Elite teams but something is off track to me is it the numbers? Depth? cause having Arguably the best WR in the league Nickson should have Bulldogs at the Top out of 19 teams .The Ducks look to be grooving in somewhat as the Commish team got back with AJ who having a stellar year with the leading rusher Ramos bowling his way for his team at 4-2..I think Manson and Marlon going be a test for AJ cause quite frank you cant just throw the ball up against guys like that..Gonzales going have to make good decisions with the Ball and they defense will be strong enough to hold the Ducks off or it might be a fun scoring game either way I'll be watching...Ducks come up short to me some how..so do I call this a upset for the Dogs? BULLDOGS 27-20
Trojans(3-3)vs Warriors(2-5):
The Warriors the team that shocked me and others coming in this spring a team that is very talented but in 7 games only won two..Spence and Dawud experiment has goin bad.Is the best Receiver in League History stat wise ..will he be on the run again? Trojans on the other hand picked up Calvitto a experienced QB perfect fit for a team that has playmakers all around the ball for them..with Morris, Ebanks, Sunshine and Hunter. Great old Waterbury rivalry re-newed so its one of those late games you cant miss ..I will just be interested in seeing how the Warriors come out.Dube a great WR/CB deserves to be in MVP votes, but playing on a team that's far from .500 wont help his cause . I see a tight game but far too many guys for the Trojans who only have to play one game this week..I got Trojans Here ..TROJANS 21-15
Indians(1-4)vs Franchise(0-6):
For damn sure Im not picking FRANCHISE in my Dud of the WEEK..INDIANS 12-6
